I was a tenant with PML and for the duration of my tenancy I was met with nothing but rudeness and inconsistency from all the staff members. To anyone who is considering to rent from these people please save yourself a lot of problems and look elsewhere. Moved into the property and it was never washed even though I was told it would be clean, the carpets were dirty and extremely stained and discoloured, there were red and yellow marks all over the bedroom walls. When i was viewing the proper...

Be honest, be professional, be considerate and respectful and most importantly they should have done their job like it is supposed to be done and not cheat innocent and hard working people out of their hard earned cash.

I have had various issues with PML throughout my 1.5 year stay in one of their properties, but the worst and most impactful has been now that I have left, getting, not only my deposit, but the rent I paid back. I automatically pay rent on the 8th of each month, and moved out on the 11th, so there is basically 3 days shy of an entire months rent they have of mine. I chased and was told over a week ago it would be in my account that evening.. it wasn't. Chased again the beginning of this week w...

-Been more clear about when moneys owed would be paid (and actually stick to this) -Not allow someone with a mental illness who threatens others lives to live in one of their flat shares

We were broken into through the kitchen window. They didn't pick up the phone or answer our emails about getting the window re-secured and it took over two weeks and getting the police to force their hand before they so much as screwed it down. They send people over to work on tasks that were requested a year ago without notifying us. They send a man to pick mail up without so much as a text to warn us; he literally turns up out of the blue with a key and saunters in. They never pick up the phon...

Do not, at whatever cost, use this estate agent - by far the worst estate agent experience of my time renting in London. Terrible after-care service, it has taken me 3 months to get my deposit back and they have tried every trick possible to take more money from the amount they owe....

I am writing this to warn other people in order to avoid being victims of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The agency's employees but also any unauthorised person were entering the property frequently and with no previous warning. Bills were not getting paid, post belonging to current tenants was stolen from the property. Things were never fixed unless the tenants put enormous pressure. They function more like a gang than a legitimate company. Their replies to enquiries had ...

Everything about our experience was terrible; from gas leaks upon arrival to regaining our deposit back after moving out. Upon move in the building, which had not been cleaned to the professional standards promise, we arrived to numerous bills, a gas leak for which we had to call emergency gas services and mold. During our stay in the property we would frequently email Property Match regarding problems for which we wouldn't receive responses for weeks on end, and when a contractor would finally ...

I'm looking for people who are willing to give accounts against property match London - if I am to report them to watchdog. Please just comment on this post if you are willing so I have an idea of the number of supporting victims. I do not think they should be allowed to trade any longer. They are part of the property ombudsman and not regulated by any letting agent body. I have hit a brick wall in trying to report them. Trading standards and watch dog are my next options....

Essentially criminals at CityWharf, they were in breach of contract throughout my stay. Do not comply with any fire/safety laws and will do their very best to withhold your deposit. Eventually only succumbing when I mounted court pressure on them, they knew they were in the wrong but I guess many people aren't willing or experienced enough to fight for their rights. I would avoid at all costs......

I Have a long story with these guys. I know them since 2010 and seriously DON'T rent with them! They are terrible. My first problems started with them when they wouldn't send anyone to fix problems at the property where I lived. But these problems were a joke comparing to the rest of my experience! I, along with the other tenants was constantly threatened and eventually evicted from the rented property. It turned out that the PML had a legal dispute over the property I lived in. Moreover! They l...

Return my deposit strainght after moving out. Agree to relocate me as soon as the court case took place. And be honest about the issues (They lied to me and re-sighned the contract when they had no legal right to do so! They should have let me know about the court case and provide me with an option to move to a new place if they didn\'t want to lose me as a tenant)

Property Match London Rooms agency review: If you expected (like I did) that renting a room through an agency would save you stress and would provide a more professional service then please stay away from Property Match London Rooms based in Bermondsey. I am relieved that my tenancy ended and I could not wait for the 12 months contract to end. 1. The man Jay (?) who showed me the room lied that a non-smoker lived there previously. That was when I asked him why there was a smell of cigarett...

Just close the office and let others manage the flats. You are not suitable to work with people.
Comment on agent fees
Excessive for the terrible service provided. Not worth it. In addition to monthly rent, there was ‚£100 admin fee and ‚£75 for check in and check out each. The deposit is not returned for many weeks.

Where do I start.... This agency is just awful. If you want to save yourself endless hassle then avoid them like the plague. I agreed to a flat share which I knew was a bad idea but I needed somewhere to live. The place was a dump and the other tenants seemed random and definitely not professionals. I moved out recently - and like other reviewers have stated, they refused to pay me back my deposit. I\'ve been arguing constantly with them but they have been making excuses. I\'m pretty sure I will...

Calling all landlords and tenants- DO NOT USE Property Match London no matter what or any of their affiliated companies, that you can check on Companies House. I am going through living hell at the moment with them! They advertise on spareroom.co.uk Firstly, they only have one branch at 10 West Lane, London SE16 4NY. Their branch at 55 Millharbour, E14 was repossessed on 25th November 2013. I\'m a landlord and I signed up with Property Match London for a 3 year lease, where they told me ...

I echo the experience as outlined above. They have even manufactured a false landlord! Issued licences to the tenants as opposed to AST's and failed to protect deposits. And that is only the beginning. DO NOT USE ANY COMPANY WITH A NAME SIMILAR TO PROPERTY MATCH. DO NOT DEAL WITH PAULO AFONSO, CHRISTINE BERG OR SANDRA BANDE. They will take your property, not pay the utilities and refuse to return the property at the end of the contract. Your life will become, as the landlord above states,....

Hi, I wish I checked reviews before renting with PML... This company still owes me overpaid rent as I moved out earlier and expected to get refund based on email agreement. The only way I got my deposit back was through the deposit scheme. For three months after moving out I was ignored using a variety of excuses like annual leave, no staff, sickness, only one member of staff could deal with my case, etc. Plus they tried to charge me for cleaning when I left the house cleaner tha it was. WORST AGENCY IN LONDON! If you are reading this and are about to sign of have signed with Property Match save yourself a lot of trouble and do not bother! Their staff are so incompetent "xxx". Most of their lettings are of single rooms. You will NOT have any say about who moves into the other rooms within the property. If you moved in to an all-female flat at the start of your tenancy you could well find that the other rooms have all been taken by men by the end as the other tenants\' contracts have expired and they\'ve left to get away. They don\'t care about who they\'re putting into the rooms so long as they\'re getting their money - reporting that your new housemate is violating t...

Property Match London (PML), which lets property in and around the London Docklands, is the worst run estate agency I or anyone I have ever known has come across. They are the very height of unprofessional. Ever watch TV shows where shameful building companies rip off unsuspecting victims? This is the equivalent in the London estate agency market. Where do I start... If you rent through Property Match London, expect that they will not allow you to meet the tenants before. You can also exp...

This is a rogue agency. They have previously operated under the name of Flatmatematch, and were notorious for bad service, outright lies to both tenants and landlords, and even not returning deposits. I thought that by opening a new company, their business model would have changed. I am appalled to see they continue to operate as they used to. Also, in similar types forums on their previous agency, they were even uncovered posing as "tenants", writing themselves good reviews. So, I w...

The most harrowing experience in terms of maintenance of the flat. The flat had hot water problems so many times and only used to get fixed after a week or so (and this too after repeated phone calls to the team). The worst part is they take 4-6 weeks to refund your own deposit which is against the law....

The agents only think till letting out the flat and don\'t care whether the customer will stay or not. I think this is a recurring theme. But, this agent is worse as they don\'t care about yr maintenance issues.
