Even one star is too good for this company!! I was lived in on of their properties for 8 months there were in conjuction with another company called Crystalight limited everything seemed fine for the first few months then in the October my water supply was started being cut of by the owners of the shop downstairs I'd be left without water for 12 to 15 hours a day!! I found out that platinum owned the shop downstairs aswell and that they were having to pay for my water also as there was never a...

Am sorry you had the problems at this property "Guest 25" however I would like to make the following points. Your property is owned by Crystalight Ltd and they were the landlord on your tenancy agreement. While Platinum Property Agents were initially managing agents your landlord is a large property owner and developer and the maintenance issues were referred to their own contractors. The shop below is let by Crystalight not Platinum Property Agents. Platinum was unaware of the disput....

Please heed what this and all the other reviewers are saying. These are Cowboys and nasty ones at that. As tenants we were given 2 addenda to the Tenancy Agreement by this company which they claimed to be legally binding and had to be signed by the lead tenant on the 2nd day of our tenancy. Failure to sign meant the end of the tenancy, so we signed as 'received'. We had to take the landlord to court after he used the 2 documents to justify the withholding of part of our deposit. The judge rubbis...

Never ever choose Platinum. They take weeks to sort out any maintenance issues, to answer emails, the phone, to call you back. They don't do their paperwork properly which leaves the opportunity for them to screw you over with your deposit. If you do get any of your deposit back even if it's with DPS, it will take months. Not only will it take months, you won't be able to get hold of them to find out what's taking so long. The staff are rude and unhelpful and are only interested in one thing, ta...

Sorry we didn't meet your expectations on this occasion. Contrary to your comments Platinum aim to respond to maintenance issues promptly and therefore I would be interested to investigate the specific issues you are referring to. Generally the deposit process is straight forward and a comparison of the condition of the property at the start of a tenancy with the condition of the property at the end. I am happy to review the charges requested on behalf of our landlord and see whether they we....

Avoid these jokers like the plague. They will try and screw every penny that they can out of you. Their house inspections are a farce, they make claims and provide no evidence. I went to the DPS and Arbitration to challenge them and they made false claims, lost the Move In Inventory and submitted false claims/bills for work that was not done. They also dragged out the deposit over four or so months. Avoid this firm at all costs. DPS & Arbitration found that they had over-claimed by hundre...

No business wants complaints and we are sorry we didn't meet your expectations on this occasion. Your comments are interesting in that they highlight common misconceptions about the agents role and the process. - All deposits have to be protected by landlord or agent and have a prescribed dispute procedure. - Platinum uses the DPS custodial service which means the money is held by the DPS directly and can only be released when both sides agree. This is the most secure method for the tenant a....

This agency did nothing for me as a landlord. When the tenancy ended they returned the tenant's deposit in fill , less £29 for locks i had to replace as keys were not returned. Platinum completely ignored the fact that multiple tenants had occupied the house in spite of my saying that this was not to happen. They would not address several things i was unhappy about, with the tenants, and treated me with indifference and rudeness. I would NEVER use them again nor would I ever recommend...

Always disappointing to receive complaints and more so when this is so far from the truth. Often part of the agents role is to advise landlords of their legal responsibilities and to accept the terms of the agreement they have entered into with their tenant. We act for the landlord and sometimes that means stopping the landlord from breaching their obligations and making unreasonable claims. Landlords need to be aware that they are not permitted to visit and enter the house without permission....

Not impressed. Don't expect them to call you back when they say they will. Expect them to tell excuses about why there are delays with your purchase. Expect the sellers to still be in the property after completion. Not impressed. The office looks cowboyish, it all seems very cowboyish. ...

Sorry that we did not meet your expectations. As agents we act as intermediaries and actually have very little influence over the post offer sales process. This is controlled by the slowest solicitor and the most awkward buyer in the chain. The rest of us are essentially passengers or victims. That said an agent can and should keep everybody informed of progress and manage those expectations. The advantage of a traditional agent over some on-line agents is the personal service that provides ....
