![]() Simon on 19th Jun 2020 1 Star Review Appalling the way I've been treated I applied to rent a property on open rent with a landlord named shahbaz m and had a lengthy conversation with him about leasing and he said he was more than happy to do so and to get in touch with Peterkins to fill in the necessary paper work upon doing so providing everything they needed I was told I passed the credit checks and just needed to provide a reference off my current landlord which I then provided I then spoke to the landlord again and he stated that I shouldn't worry about anything I can have the property and to get the rent payments paid directly to him I then changed my address with the dwp and started the process of getting the rent payments to him and then out of the blue I get a email off peterkins estate agents saying unfortunately the landlord can't go ahead with the lease of the property I asked the reason why which by law they are required to tell me under the consumer conception law I've been blatantly ignored by them and the landlord. Samantha Ross is the name of the agent who was dealing with my allocation for leasing the property may I say it's very unprofessional the way I've been treated and as a result of handing in my notice in to my current landlord I'm now going to be left homeless disgusting

Peterkins letting services Very hands off approach, no oversite of tennants. Anything that requires leaving office is performed poorly. Vetting of tennants was good with good financial checks. 6 Mar 2019Had exactly the same experience with them. Even to the point of arranging for someone from Peterkins to be in the office 4 weeks in advance, only for them to flat out refuse to honor it when the time ...
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
