We received an excellent service from Iain selling our flat. Couldn't recommend him highly enough. Pearson Ferrier were our second estate agents, we had no interest at all with the first ones. Iain sold our property within a few weeks, and kept us informed throughout the whole process. We found him to be be professional, knowledgeable and courteous....

I live next door to a house that Pearson Ferrier manage they agreed to go halves on the boundary fencing. This was in May/June I am still waiting to be paid they say the owners are dealing with the payment and will be in touch. Considering the approval came from them Pearson Ferrier they should take responsibility and honour the agreement. They are unprofessional and rude....

The Fence has been replaced to a very high standard and all paid for by us. I should have been made aware that the owners where going to pay their halve directly before we proceeded. As it was the approve came from Pearson and Ferrier which implied that the usual management process was being followed and the payment would come out of the monthly rent Pearson and Ferrier collects on the owners behalf. ...

I have been very impressed with the help and support offered by all staff, and particularly leah, at P-F in Ramsbottom. They were always available, extremely prompt in responding to any request, very clear in explaining processes and regularly in touch to provide updates and advice. They also recommended both solicitors and electricians who proved to be excellent. I feel that Leah went well beyond anything I have come to expect from an estate agent in chasing up our vendors, liasing with solici...

Very very poor service. Rude. Hidden fees. Failure to return calls or deal with issues. Extremely poor experience and will not be using ever for future sales. Will ensure we advise all friends and family across the local area to avoid using for leggings or sales and to avoid at all costs. Incredibly disappointing....

Went to rent a property and was supplied with a second rate credit reference check for £75 which was out of date and full of inaccuracies that my Experian report didn't have. Was rude, cost me £75 and also though it best to see if we would be approved by the landlord once wed sold our house. Luckily had to force them to talk soon to avoid being homeless but just really poor rude experience using second rate partners which caused us problems and cost us money....

The £75 fee for a credit check would have been fine if the information that came back was accurate and in date like other agencies such as experience but also it wasn't. This is the first experience ever being forced to pay for something that wasn't right.

Went for several properties. Terrible communication. Consistently shown properties clearly not to our spefifications. When a property we were trying to lease fell through they didnt think to tell us. I found out a fortnight after the decision when I contacted the landlords directly. Terrible customer service. On a different property put my admin fee down (£250) and waited months for them to get my finicial checks done....

Veronique has been great throughout dealing with the prestwich branch. Adam dealt with us for the final day of our tenancy and returning the keys. Despite handing the keys in at 9 am and asking to do this at the rental property so that we could do the final inspection together, I was told to just drop them off at the office. He then proceeded to do an inspection later on that day where I could have been with him and then stated that the property was in an unlivable condition despite it looking e...

kept the promises made first and second time..anyone can make mistakes and rectify them, but when given a second chance and there is no change at all and all the past mistakes happen again..then you realise it is their policy and that collecting houses on their books is the aim not customer service.

Tabber, let me know the details of your situation as I suspect there is a little more to this than us trying to 'cheat' you out of your deposit as you are no doubt aware all deposits are registered with either TDS or DPS and it is their arbitration that determines the outcome of any end of tenancy dispute not us. Main issues you may face as a landlord: being overcharged, duplicate charges applied to your account - watch out for GS certificates, passing work to closely connected businesses (but not disclosing it to you as tenant), 'forgetting' to transfer rent to you, offering insurance products but failing to meet any regulatory requirements, not passing on tenant enquiries and requests. Aside from this the staff can be rude and quite unprofessional making disparaging comments about tenants. The p...

Ms Leigh your review dated February 2014 is of our Holcombe Brook office which closed in 2008, we have traded in the local area since 1995, in Ramsbottom since 1997. I would NOT recommend Pearson Ferrier. They initially appear to be a reputable company, however they are not registered with ARLA which in retrospect should have sounded alarm bells. No matter how many times they were chased they were regularly very slow to arrange maintenance work, which does not afford peace of mind to either landlord or tenant. Also they are poor at renewing gas safety certificates, which is the very minimum legally required of a lettings agent. Our landlords are certainly...
