Very reliable and accurate. Whenever there is a problem they try and resolve the issue within 24 hours. Joss is very quick at replying to e-mails and coming with solutions to fix any minor problems we might have had. Pavilion properties is a good agency and our house was as we expected, plus more. When me and my housemate moved into our new flat with Pavilion Properties it wasn't in the best state. There was a leak in the bathroom, it was dirty, a broken plug socket in one of the bedrooms, a broken shed door in the garden and no smoke alarm fitted. I had visited a few different estate agents and it wasn't until I saw Rob Austen at pavilion properties I knew this was the right place for me. Do not deal with this estate agent in any circumstances. Prior to tenancy starting, moving in dates were unclear and as to work on the property, it was still ongoing on the moving in date. When in the property the shocking customer service crossed the line into rudeness and ignorance, not treated like a customer paying a lot of money for their 'services' and keeping them in a job. I antically had the property with another agent, who we\'re appalling, they are Choices of brighton, They tried to keep my deposit after the deal feel through with them because the landlord did not want to deal with them after hearing how awful they were. And Rob helped my get my deposit back, he is brilliant. I digress, Pavilion cost my โ€š£1000.00 pounds less than Choices. That is a lot of cash.

I dealt with Rob at Pavilion Properties when renting a flat. I initialled enquired about the property via Rightmove on a Saturday afternoon and he called me straight away and we met for a viewing (unexpected on a Saturday). Openly admitting I wasn\'t the easiest of clients as I was busy at work and undecided on the move he was very patient, helpful and always easy to contact. I have since rented out the house I moved out from with them and I am happy with the service. Recommended....

Joss and the team at Pavilion have been emailing me in error for over a year, often sending private information about their tenants. I have alerted them several times, including on their facebook, but they still can\'t correct their database to spell their tenant\'s name correctly. I also see people complaining on their twitter account about not communicating inspections, overall they look like a poor landlord....

Mr Austin advertised our property and flexibly arranged viewings that suited the potential tenants eg evenings and weekends. He kept us informed of the progress until the most suitable applicant was found and all the checks had been made. I rented a house from Pavilion Properties last year (for my first year at uni) and decided to remain with him for my second year. If anything does go wrong in the house (nothing serious has in ours just a dodgy shower curtain etc) they have had people come round to fix it almost instantly. Personally I have had no issues with him or any of his staff members and they have all been nothing but professional - I feel I have definitely gone with the correct estate agent for two years running....

The neglegence of this group of \'professionals\' astounds me. Failure to address a warning given from British gas regarding our boiler resulted in a trip to hospital and the cut off our gas supply. Very unhelpful when it comes to explaining how the process works, contradictory information arising from poor communication between them, always late to provide information, they get angry when you confront them with their incompetence and try to push you off the phone. Without a doubt the most incompetent group of \'professionals\' i\'ve ever dealt with. I lived in a house managed by them for a year, throughout which there was frequent problems with mould, broken appliances, faulty door locks, none of which was ever dealt with until months after it was meant to be, if at all. Utterly awful agents, avoid at all costs. We had the same experience as "Angrytenant" last year with the second shower which was unfit for purpose and nailed shut without informing us. Thus, what we had been told was a two shower house was a one shower house by the time we moved in, with no reduction in rent or even a proper apology. Frankly, there was not one positive thing about them and the whole experience would have had to have been different in order for them to merit recommendation.

We then came to Pavilion Properties who were excellent for us. not only did they find a property for us to live in they also acted with such proffesionalism at all times. As many others have pointed out I would suggest staying away from Pavilion Properties. In fact I wouldn\'t wish them on my worst enemies. Well can I just say I don\'t think Pavilion understand the principles of customer service, their staff seem to find it a chore dealing with tenants. They have been absolutely USELESS at getting anything done, even after repeated emails there is still a large amount of damp in the house and things such as broken windows which are open all the time have not been fixed. Terrible letting agents, The house was in appalling condition, but the estate agents refused to fix anything or do any work to the house. 8 moths into a 10 month contract it was said that the work would not be completed before we moved out.
