Our experience with this agency was awful. We rented with them for more than 1 year. Sharks'n'Cretins would be a more appropriate name for this agency who are willing to continue to collude with some of Brighton's worst landlords on the premise that they only deal with the financial side not the maintenance thus denying all responsibility. IMO any reputable agency would not deal with such landlords, especially when they've had multiple complaints about unhealthy mice infestations, boilers which aren't replaced for months after failing gas safety checks, mould growing in common...

Very unhappy with the service provided. Nice enough flat but issues prior to moving in not addressed. Asked to leave without any explanation. Asked to leave earlier than my notice period but to continue paying rent as landlord wanted to redecorate before new tenant moved in. Parks where a great agent from start to finish. Adam who suggested the property and showed me around was extremely friendly and informative throughout. The agency fee's where one of the cheapest I came across in Brighton and the whole process was stress free and straight forward. My partner and I decided to view a fantastically presented flat. It had all the makings of an incredible home. During the viewing, there were issues and the Parks agents assured my partner and I that the gripes we had would be rectified before or shortly upon move in. What agent could do to change your mind?
Ella Collins is not capable of distinguishing the smell of cat urine from the smell of damp. This is an incredible problem when the previous tenants had two cats and gravel from the cat box was sill in the flat upon move in. During the viewing, don\'t believe their smiles and assurances, get everything in writing and MAKE FORMAL REQUESTS! Nothing will get done without them.

Becky was awful she didn\'t help she would write things down and never follow them up she made little or no attempt to resolve the issue until it came to a head and started effecting the rest of the property and the shop below and even then they didn\'t get builders in until we had moved out.

the agency does not care about the people they rent to, its shocking how awful my experience has been with them and I would not recommend them to any one as their flats are over priced and they refuse to return your deposit on time.

Worst letting agent I\'ve encountered, and no I do not say this every time a tenancy expires. In fact, I never encountered any problems with an agency before. Ever. They gave me an incredibly hard time when I moved in, due to the fact that I was out of uni and still haven\'t found a job. Keep their promises, listen to my request, perhaps have a 50/50 balance between tenant and landlord- they seem to favour their landlords much more.

Parks Lettings are the worst letting agents I have ever dealt with, and I have been renting property for a considerable number of years. I do not rent cheap properties. Parks has been my letting and managing agent for a student property for nearly 20 years. Over this time there have occasionally been "issues" but those have always been promptly and courteously resolved. Avoid at all costs to collaborate with these agents, they are absolutely unprofessional!!! They have been awful at dealing with the large number of problems we have had. The house was filthy when we moved in, the shower leaked in to the kitchen (which took them four days to fix, then started leaking again a few weeks later), given us a rusty fridge and now we have mould covering our walls.
