500 mile round trip from the North of England to do a viewing. We were very keen cash/no chain buyers. Jackie, was poor. Not particularly interested in selling (was the offer already agreed prior to our viewing?) and she arrived in an old motorhome with a dog. Not a great impression of an agent. Greatly disappointed that the owners werent asked to hold out for us to return home, having asked Jackie to do so, and told her of our practical issue of having to return North immediately. Indeed, I cant think of any reason why an owner wouldnt just wait 12 hours knowing another offer was coming, unless this had been agreed prior to our viewing. Very poor and expensive experience on our behalf.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
