Move in on Saturday, then Just before moving in day late afternoon got email saying sorry it is moved to Tuesday.. I had all arranged to move .. friends to help .. imagine.. I went to agency to speak and ask for keys .. they wouldn’t give.. saying needs to clean. The property we agreed I will move in was empty for month .. nothing needed to be done, as we agreed on email I will refurbish myself.. I am full time working on good income. It was verified and accepted. What’s the play then ..? - I asked to give me keys on Saturday ., or I am not moving and in this case I want my deposit back . At the end I didn’t move , as they did want to give me keys- reason the colleague who dealt was off . How strange- what is manager for then .. He can’t make decision..
totally out of order this company. Didn’t even refunded me full amount of holding deposit.
It was in 2019 - hopefully Management changed and no more victims . As due to manager depends how responsible staff to rent out on promised day ..etc
P.S. I have never ever had any issues with any agency and moved few times in my life ..
I will never forget this ..! Shocking disrespectful ignorants - worst agency from my view .
And don’t you dare writing feedback to my review, that you don’t have my name. You might not have as the agency is totally irresponsible, possibility don’t hold any documents , but we all have . I won’t ever forget this , really wanted to move in to this property, but after I stood in office, and how you been ignorant to deal with me .. Why I would sign for Tuesday if you betrayed me on First move in day - no trust !

Beware anyone attempting to rent a property through pace must listen to our experience. My daughter needing to rent a property was told that she would need a gaurantor we approached pace and
told them that I was semi retired. *told me not to worry as it would be fine although he knew with proof of my accounts that I am on low income. They took our money for admin fees and a months up front rental with full knowledge of my income. And when this did not meet the criteria to accept me as a gaurentor through home let they continued to offer solutions which only delayed the refusal and subsequent rejection of my daughter as a tennant.we fully understand although disagree as knew our circumstances but continued to say that things were ok and when we asked for our month rent deposit we were then charged £32 a day for every day to process it. Please be aware when entering pace that the administration fees will also include £32 a day to process. They no longer reply to my emails as it must be uncomfortable for them knowing they have taken advantage of my situation.

I have rented for many years, I have NEVER dealt with such an unprofessional and careless agency.
Don't seem to care about any issues regarding the property even If they were pre-existing before moving in despite promising things to be fixed before hand.
We were assigned an agent who we could never get hold of, to make it worse no one in the office could ever possibly deal with any of our queries in the whole office bar this agent. So when she was out or on leave that made this a little difficult as you could imagine.
Waited 3 weeks for a window to be fixed, 1 year for a fire door to be replaced to regulation standard & 1 year and a half to remove mouldy mastic in the bathroom even though I had informed them I was allergic to this. They even noted this before contract exchanged ensuring us that this would be dealt with before moving in.
We paid for multiple engineer visits as we felt after a few things finally being dealt with we should not bother the landlord any further, the landlord himself has been very understanding.
Pace then 'lost' our notice within the office when we formally submitted it by hand a week earlier than required. Changed our check out 3 times. Couldn't follow instruction regarding viewings. Agent was LATE when checking out, didn't have an inventory that was even correct for the property. We returned the property in better condition than receiving it, for them to then propose several things not mentioned that would need to be charged for. We have since compromised and had our deposit returned as we didn't want to have to deal with this company any longer.
Had to chase constantly for any updates. Just absolutely disgraceful. So happy to have nothing to do with them now.

Although the sale did take longer than I anticipated, mainly due to my slow solicitors, I felt that Sue was doing her very best to speed things along. As a seller you need to be kept informed of what is happening every step of the way and Sue did just that, without me having to ring or chase up.

Moving is a stressful time, but Diane Akers made it as pain*less as possible, she was so helpful and patient with me, answering the numerous questions I had and allaying any fears I had. Moving into an area I wasn't familier with Diane pointed me in the direction of banks, shops, council, what ever I needed she offered to help. On Moving in, my allocated Property Manager Sara Threadgold helped me through the process, gave me advice and ensured I was happy. My home is lovely, decorated to a high standard and with a reasonable rent. It is reassuring to know I have added support throughout my tenancy, I would like to say a big thank you, and would recommend Pace to anyone who was thinking of renting from them. The standard of service you receive and the expectation you will be given will be high.

Extremely happy with Pace.
I purchased my property through pace and dealt directly with Sue Mellor. I've found Sue to be honest, knowledgeable and very good at what she does.
Sue has answered all the additional questions I've put to her (there were many) associated with the property process.
Sue is extremely approachable which is very important and does it with a smile on her face. Communication is key so feeling comfortable and confident in your point of contact is vital and I felt I had that equally I didn't need to chase which is also a bonus.
