I was appalled by the rental team at ocean let's Gloucester Road! The manager actually watched me nearly cry in the office over anti social neighbours and the staff member told me she wasn't in the office and I couldn't make an appointment even though the manager was sitting on the desk opposite! When she finally spoke with us she was cold and patronising and aggressive! Highly unprofessional behaviour and they rent out sub standard flats!!! I was appalled and I have rented for many years...

Outrageous I was charged 500 pounds in relisting fees as I had to leave contract early due aggressive and anti social neighbours who lived in he flat above. They refused to not charge me due to no fault of my own and then stated they had nothing to do with the issue and it was up to the landlord. They promote this property and is on their books!

I don't even know which branch we are dealing with. After 18 months we've had about six different reps as people in the office seem to mysteriously disappear and suddenly any issues or complaints you've made get 'forgotten' about. They will fob you off until you give up and are extremely incompetent and rude. Absolutely avoid them like the plague. You be forever waiting for those repairs you required five years ago.. Damp issues? They'll say if you don't like it then just move....

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Disgraceful company who employ any bodies who have no idea what they are doing. Our tenancy was a disgrace from start to finish. Left for 4 weeks with no heating or hot water when my girlfriend was 7 months pregnant in the middle of January . Ocean were absolutely terrible. They completely rip off students, make false claims about tenants not having paid deposits without having checked with their accountants first. Trying to buy a property, I have been blatantly lied to on all fronts. They've been caught out now, as they sold the adjoining property (which has just been updated on land registry) for way less than they told me and not needing the "considerable amount" of work required on it. I was with them from late 2012 until Spring 2016. Never ever again. Their fees do not match the level of service provided. They put barriers in the way of complaints, don't respond to emails and in my experience treat you like a number rather than a person. We chose to do this as our sellers were using them and we thought this would give a smoother purchase if both parties were using the same company. The amount of property check is ridiculous. They came to check the property 5 times in a year, which is quite disturbing. Everything was going well, the staff was friendly and helpful, we liked the flat. The problems started when we paid the holding deposit. They phoned us and told, that the landlord had already let the flat and suggested to take another flat in the same building. We, unfortunately, agreed. The reference check form included a statement, that we must insure landlord\'s possessions. We declined and thus were not eligible to rent the flat. in accordance to the complaints below (as previously communicated to them) they could respond to them! They need to listen to customer feedback and act on it. I\'ve seen no improvement from them whatsoever and absolutely no care or concern about doing so. Their attitude is shocking and needs to change.
