Thank you for your comment in response to my review. The female estate agent was not very helpful and at times condescending. The sale was lost - a complaint was made to HQ in Newport regarding the whole process and communication methods, a phone call from the Cheltenham office was promised. That was two months ago - still no call

This company is so bad at communication it is almost laughable (if it weren't frustrating).. As a Tenant they basically ignore you. Whether you phone or email them, basic repairs, or anything you ask is ignored, it just disappears into a black hole. Would never recommend. They need to sort themselves out and actually respond to people. You may as well be talking to a brick wall. An expensive brick wall. Shame! ...

Sorry that you had this experience. We try to inform the prospective tenant as much as possible as to how to apply for a property. The application form comes with a cover sheet which clearly states that we require completed aplication forms-Proof of photographic ID -Proof of Current address (Money laundering regs 2003) and administration fee. Mrs AMH or at least her partner tried to blame the tenant for a latent defect in the property that they rented which was apparant before the tenant took up occupancy and when the landlord was living there. I am sorry that you are upset that your landlord decided to sell or re-let the property that you lived in. However can I just explain that we do not own the property and merely act under the instruction of your landlord who is the owner and has every right to sell or re-let what belongs to him. Unfortunately property owners do not necessarily know when it is the right time to sell their property. It may very well have been your landlords intention to keep renting the pro ...
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
