From the start of my tenancy to the end I have experienced a great efficent service! Brilliant team who are always happy to help and are very informative. Got scammed and never heard from them again, was told a property was not available to rent multiple times, rang off a different number and somehow it was available again. Paid the admission fee and then they increased the deposit which was already agreed upon before paying the fee. Either they can't do a simple basic job, or are just dishonest....

Dear Johno Thank you for your comments, however firstly MTD would never scam any Clients we are a Professional Lettings Agent and pride ourselves on Customer Care. If you were advised that a property was not available this would be due to the fact we had been informed by the Landlord. If you could provide the property address which you are referring to we would be able to elaborate regarding your complaint. The only valid reason for a deposit figure to change would be if you were not able to me....

I had an awesome experience dealing with MTD residential. Everyone there is every professional and helped me in moving to a new flat smoothly. I would like to thank Sharon, Lynsey and Sarah for helping me out and to find a flat that both my wife and I am very happy with. I moved 7 months ago to a property in Waterloo Quay with MTD promises to fix two windows in both bed rooms. I was paying over area rent average and I did expect to commit with their promise. They didn't though by keep raising excuses until they said o will no be fixed. 2nd incident, when I paid electricity invoice for consumption before my move. Invoice received from Scottish power to MTD, and when i paid it and deducted the amount from my rent, they insisted along 3 months to pay that amount ...

I am here just to refer the great service you have provided to me during the period that I was in a rented property managed by MTD. This agency became a reference to me and just pity that I cannot use your services here in Cambridge. Since dealing with MTD I have found them very efficient, polite and helpful. The property was immaculate when I moved in and I was impressed with the standard of service I received throughout this stressful time. The apartment was very dirty when we moved in and they were unapologetic about it. They were very slow to get anything done and appeared to keep no notes of queries as every time we rang we had to explain the situation again. They asked me to lie to potential residents looking at our flat re the price we paid as they were increasing it. What agent could do to change your mind?
More recording of conversations and taking notes on issues. More proactive in getting issues resolved. Less confrontational. In sum, more professional.

Sometimes tenants wish to move into a property as soon as the property becomes vacant. With this in mind we can not always guarantee that the previous tenant will leave the property clean. We do endeavour to rectify this as quickly as possible however we do not have a cleaning team based at our offices and outside contractors have to be instructed. We were told that if we liked the property and paid a £200 fee, the property would be taken off the market straight away while our application was processed. We decided to apply for the property, so the next day we phoned up MTD and were told the flat was still available. - not allowed two applicants to \'reserve\' a property, or if this is normal policy, been more upfront about this. - refunded our ‚£200 more quickly
