Not sure if I've just worked with the same company as the other reviews seem somewhat negative??? Instructed DC Law through Satchells for our mid-chain (from hell) sale and purchase. Worked with Oliver Vale. I've got to say having done this before I am used to conveyancers being self-important, arrogant and generally lacking any awareness of time pressures. I generally dread the idea of selling or buying. However, I've got to say Oliver is by far the best person I've ever worked with. The pr...

DO NOT USE THESE GUYS GO DIRECT TO SOLICITORS. I am disappointed to discover that there was an extra cost of over £300 hidden in the jargon of our initial quotation. To which I only found out about when we received our bill from our solicitor To state that the legal charges are fixed and there are no hidden costs is incorrect and you should not be advertising this. Dreadful. Sale of probate property with zero communication and estate agents behaving as though it was there home. The conveyancing was done by Dc Law and a curt response when asked if completion had taken place (no one contacted on the day to confirm) 'it looks like it did'. Surely you know if you have completed the conveyancing on a property and you can inform the executors. I would NOT recommend in any way....

My wife and I were called on numerous occasions by a Move With Us employee called Sash even though wife hadn't yet sold our house. We were told to start the ball rolling with them to get legally prepared for the sale which is absolute rubbish. We then sold our property and were called again by Sash who this time promised a fixed price of approximately £528 for the conveyance. No hidden extras or additional costs was his promise. As recommended by my estate agent (*), they give the impression they use 'in house' conveyancing to provide a seamless sales service. They do not. Initially they will take approximately £60 as ID fees. Then they get you to fill in the forms online and send them to the cheapest solicitor in the area who pays them for a referral. You do not get the solicitor whose name is on the paperwork - it is passed down the line to the cheapest trainee. They have no clue what they are supposed to be doi...

I had several calls from move with us asking we use them as solicitors but decided to use another firm. Sat in a departure lounge 1 hour before flying, I had a call from my estate agent saying unfortunately the vendors, despite agreeing an offer have had a higher offer with another estate agent. The business, including DC Law are awful! Time management, customer service and following policies and procedures are not their strong suit, although we managed to obtain our property using their services, this was mainly down to my persistence more than their ability or effort. They have a 4 hour policy where any voicemail, email or message must be responded to within that time scale, it was more like a 4+ day time scale and when the response was issued it included more rubbish than actual ans...

Be very wary... MoveWithUs were appointed by my late mothers equity release company in July last year. They appointed two agents, one of which went for a below market valuation. The property (a low cost first time buy or investment) remains unsold and it appears that MoveWithUs have instigated a bidding war. In the last 9 months we have been informed about 10 (YES TEN) accepted offers, each one no more than a few hundred pounds more than the previous one. There seems little prospect of the prope...

We were encouraged by an estate agent to use Move With Us to appoint a conveyancer. As a (slightly nervous) first time buyer I thought this would be a easy option. I thought that I could not be shocked or surprised by the actions of estate agents but Move With Us took levels of service to all time lows. They acted as the "middleman" on behalf of a sale under probate appointing two agents.
