My 3rd year using this agency and each year the cost increases for what??? Like you're gonna lose anything... The overall cost is extremely high regardless of my 3rd time booking one of the rooms to consider making a discount. In order to live by myself, it is the only place in Guildhall walk that is nearby to everything and my uni. The Internet is absolute garbage. This year it is supposed to be super fast but it's not even fast. You have students. You NEED to have this thing working sky rocket...

We booked viewing with Morris Dibben Lettings agency in Southampton and we came from York to view the property but the agent didn't turn up and on top of that they were not picking call. We waited there for approximately 1.5 hours for her. It is really disappointing with such unprofessional behavior. I hope not to go with your agency anymore and not to recommend anyone....

Disorganised. Lack of communication and knowledge of properties. They take ages to get things done. Not professional at all. It took them 4 months (we paid the agency fees right from the start), just a few days before we have to move in to get the contract....

Had an outrageous experience with Morris Dibben Letting agency. After viewing a flat, the next day I contacted the Morris Dibben asking them to speak to the landlord of that property and try to negotiate the price. The person I spoke to, Toby, had quite an aggressive attitude towards me. I explained to him that I am ready to sign the contract for this property and pay the deposit immediately if the monthly rent amount can be reduced. Toby refused even to try to speak to the landlord, claiming t...

It has been 6 weeks since I moved out of my rental property and I am still trying to get my deposit back, not because I am in dispute about how much they are deducting, but because they haven't even worked out how much they are deducting yet! 6 weeks down the line and still getting quotes. Ridiculous....

This was a simple sale of a flat with no upward chain. We had in mind to go to market in the spring, but when I talked to the manager - Lauren - she said she there was a really strong demand for flats, so we should go to market in November. She had a string of customers who had missed out on previous opportunities. We thought we'd give it a go there and then. No sooner advertised than we had 4 offers - actually we had the offers before we'd really finished polishing the selling details. After ...

Morris Dibben work with fixed fees rather than percentage which I find very reasonable as there is a similar amount of work for small or large property. Fee were OK and we got value for money

I recently completed a tenancy through Morris Dibben Southampton. It was, in almost every respect, the worst letting experience in almost 15 years of renting property: - Their fees were extortionate (£580 for 2 people) - During the letting arrangement's main focus seemed to be on selling us contents insurance (which was unnecessary as we already had our own). When we went to sign the tenancy agreement and pick up the keys everything was very rushed and disorganised and we were made to feel...

Make up fees as they go along, expecially for new agreements, if you renew your contract they just change a date on a document and charge ‚£200 for the privalage.

Staff were happy to receive over £500 in fees, but since haven't helped in the slightest. We have severe damp and a drain is broken right above our front door, they said they would speak to the landlord to get back to me but no answer or contact made with me. When we viewed the property the landlord said builders would be coming in to seal in the damp but when I have enquired about this, nothing has come of it. The flat itself has very little heating, and its all expensive electric hea...

Terrible agency. I was frustrated at the whole time with them because they were extremely unhelpful. We had a massive leak from the light bulb in the hallway which was not dealt with for over 5 months, so at the end we just needed to move out. It was endagering as the water was pouring at the line at which the electricity was running. I was scared every time when I had to swich the light on! Morever, the onlyt thing that they did was to isolate the light in the bathroom, leaving us without an ac...

Worst experience, Agency have breached the law by passing on personal details to third parties. I can never get in contact with them, they do not respond to emails/calls. Property had mould and severe mouse infestation however agency did nothing about it, but they were quick to write to us when we missed the rent payment by 2 days. Staff are rude and unhelpful. They didn't complete an inventory but were charging us for damages we didn't cause. Unnecessary letters were sent to the property an...

The worst experience of my life. We didn`t even know there was an inventory report created, only after signing the contract. Also we only found out after moving in that the mattress is in terrible condition, so we slept on the floor instead. They are full with promises, none of them are fulfilled. Staff cannot be reached, they always have some excuse, why. They took 500 GBP application fee, basically there is a fee even for greeting you. They are completely dishonest. We discovered a plug hangin...

Most passive-aggressive staff member I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with; unfortunately I did not obtain her name. Although she was polite, her tone came across as impatient and irritated, and she raised her voice when I asked questions about the pricing and parking in the local area. I'm working abroad currently and I was planning to send a local friend along to view the property. Apparently I have to see it in person otherwise I can't put an offer in. This would be fine, if Mor...

Agent we were deling with wasn't very professional, she was very uninformed and she didn't try to speed up the information flow. Company is very money orientated fees which apply : 250 per person for "paper work" at the begining 36 per person foe more "paper work" at the begining you need to pay additional 100£ per year to do more "paper work" - to extend the contract if one person want to move out 300£ for paper work - to change the contract two ...

Utterly useless. It took them 3 MONTHS to have our ceiling repainted when it was covered with mould and we have been without heating for a week now. They just don\'t care and treat tenants as an inconvenience. Despite that, they have some of the highest fees I\'ve encountered. Not to mention they threaten the tenant with fees if THEY turn up to an inspection without the keys!...

As per the review by "Alan". I too had a terrible experience with Morris Dibben. I had to supply them with pictures I had taken approximately 6 years ago of various rooms as their "sales staff" couldnt be bothered to go round and take fresh pictures. The pictures they took were terrible and out of focus, and after 6 weeks of hardly any interest I went to another Agent "Goadsby" who took fantastic pictures and were most helpful. Once Morris Dibben were told I was...

I can highly Recommend using Morris Dibben Bitterne for any of your property requirements. They are 100% professional at all times, They sold my Nans house at a very difficult time for us and were very helpful. They then sold our property a few months later and helped with not only the sale but they provided on-going support through each stage of the sale and gave realistic advice support and input when needed. Definitely one of the better agents. I think probably they're a good choice to sell through - I've been trying to buy through them and other agents and they drive a hard bargain. Reasonably fair though in comparison to other agents I came across, and fairly trustworthy for business people. When I come to sell I'll choose them...

I just want to make one comment regarding their brochures, As a buyer, I really would have liked to see a floor plan. When you're viewing several properties, it's hard to keep track and floor plans are very helpful. Other agents include them and there seems no good reason why MD cannot do likewise....

Also letting through Morris Dibben. We left our keys with them and went on holiday. Morris Dibben did not double lock our front door after they had shown someone around and we were broken into, Morris Dibbens attitude was that we would find it hard to prove they didn't and tough luck, not once has an apology been made. I do not believe Professional is in their vocabulary and neither is the ability to sufficiently lock a door. Waiting at present to hear back from solicitors. Poor, under hand....
