I should agree with the review of G S. Our situation with Moores happened just the same month and year of your review. This agency doesn't check their property thoroughly before they let it to the tenant! Good for you G S because you have been offered a discount on the property that is being sold to you and to your family. But for us? Yes, we agree, there are always two sides of the story but let us get all the facts straight. Firstly, yes, we really feel blamed of the things that the previous tenants have done to your house. Your company's inventory was NOT even ACCURATE. We regret that we haven't taken any photos at the start of the tenancy hence we are losing this battle against your company with no evidence at all. After a decade of renting around the country and from umpteen local property viewings I hadn't had very positive experiences of dealing with estate agents so my expectations going in were pretty low. I have to definitely agree with the review below based on my experience with these people. Absolutely appalling service. There is definitely a pattern here. I regret buying my property off them within 1 week of moving in. over-priced, wrapped in a fancy pack. Drainage blocked, electric problems, boiler not heating, Living in cold for one week. IÒ€ℒm sorry youÒ€ℒre disappointed with your new house GS. Your surveyor is responsible for ensuring you are aware of the condition of the house before you enter into a legal commitment to buy. DidnÒ€ℒt their report mention anything about the drains, heating or electrics? Checks are easily arranged for these prior to purchase. I admit we are biased towards the seller; they pay our commission fees. We have a duty to obtain the best price the market has to offer. I assume your survey....

I was a tenant in a Moores-managed property for two years and all of my dealings with Moores went smoothly and efficiently from the very first viewing. I found them friendly, accessible and quick to respond. Any issues I had with the property during my tenancy were dealt with quickly and effectively. I could not fault the service from the very beginning right through to the end. This proved to be a difficult and protracted sale mainly through problems arising which had nothing to do with the agents. I can not recommend Moores Estate highly enough, from my dealings with them in scotland to coming back to Leeds to view the house, they were always on point, on hand and at the other end of a phone or email and were always happy to help and listen. They were more than an estate agent and when more than above and beyond the cal lof duty.
