The agent was awful without heating 3 weeks they came after 13 months said home was fine 2 weeks later I moved out then they have a list of problems I was very ill and shortly after taken to hospital got a very nasty letter and no deposit back I took this further of course I got some money back but only a little there awful !...

In my experience, this letting agent is slow, unhelpful, intimidating, allowed strangers access to my property without letting me know, money-grabbing and intrusive. Please, even if they are your only option, re-think and look elsewhere. I thought all agents behaved as they did, then had a great tenancy with another agency where I wasn\'t bullied, and where problems were sorted within the week (unlike Mike Jolly\'s who left us with no boiler over Christmas)....

What agent could do to change your mind?
They could have allowed quiet enjoyment of the property, and not been money-grabbing, disorganised, uncaring bullies.

Absolute joke of a company, Asked to postpone 3 monthly home visit due to birth of a baby, they ignored us, came round, helped themselves into the house and then charged us for not being there as we were in hospital. Explained all this, Daniel Beckett has no compassion, people skills or common sense. We promptly left this poorly rated company and now we use Blundels, very happy. AVOID AVOID AVOID....

I used to work for them and would never rent from them. Only concerned about landlords because that is where the money comes from. Faults were reported but went un-repaired. End of tenancy inspections would have to list every fault, stratch or dent and they would do all theyt could to withold bond money or pay it back as late as possible. No empathy with tenants, who were often described in derogatory terms. Staff were rude and abrupt but would bend over backwards for landlords, which was encour...

Enquired about a property and arranged a viewing. They booked me in to see the wrong house and left me waiting for 30 minutes. I had to call them to find out where they were, so then had to book another appointment time. After the viewing I expressed interest and wondered if the landlord was able to provide the property unfurnished. My name and number was taken down and was told someone would get back to me. The agent was over biased towards the landlord. During the last inspection after we have moved out, we were told that professional cleaners would be hired to clean the house although have clean it thoroughly. The agent said our cleaning was up to professional standards! Almost every little things (e.g. small mark on wall, scratch on door) all were counted as negligence. On top of that, he explained everything is a very patronizing manner and the the whole process of inspection felt like a blamin...

The agents appear to work soley for the benefit of the landlord, offering no customer service to me as a tenant. They require contact about the bond via letter, but do not write back themselves. When I had issues, they made little effort to resolve them. I would never use them again, and I think that one gold star is pushing it. Shame its not out of 10....

Do not rent from this company. Will hound you for deposit money and then repeatedly fob you off when you want to actually move in. Have paid several weeks rent and not been 'allowed' into the house. There are plenty of agents in Southampton, use another one. ...

House was lovely, interim inspections always went well but despite this upon leaving the property and after thoroughly cleaning it all, the agent proceeded to tell us that the property was dirty that items on the itinery were missing and that they would have to get industrial cleaners at £100 a day to clean it. The items listed as missing were not in the house when we arrived and we will now be charged for them, they told us there were food and stains on a dining table we had never used, ...
