I rented through them. I had a few maintenace problems with the property, when I called Debbie to report these, she was out, on the phone, or in a meeting, always was promised she would call back, she never called back. I gave up in the end and gave notice. Found out later she was the Manager of the department - she shoud do a better job....

MSE have a great reputation but they undervalued my house significantly. I had three other agents out who were all within รƒยฏร‚ยฟร‚ยฝ5k of each other but MSE were well below. I would give them another chance in the future but wouldn't solely rely on their valuation....

I thought Becky and the team were excellent. From the very start, Becky was very informative on the valuation and definitely knew what she was talking about so I felt very reassured in my decision to use MSE. They were very quick to get viewings in and we had two offers by the end of the first week. We accepted one from what seems to be a lovely family and the paperwork went through very smoothly! So far so good!...

I have to say that MSE were great when we were renting through them. Whenever we have had a problem it has been sorted promptly and everything has always been made clear regarding paperwork. We are buying a house which is great for us however we will miss living in the flat and would recommend MSE to anyone....

MSE are awful. I had several issues while renting with them which were either never fixed or it took weeks longer than necessary. Main frustrating issue is when ever I called my property manager never appeared to be in and I would be told I would get a call back I NEVER received a call back. I had to resort to calling every 30 mins on the dot from 4 hours to get through to her on one occasion....

We had a very rocky ride with this agent, starting at the very beginning. When we moved in to the property, it was not mentioned that the gas and electricity meter were both prepay and required cards that were not provided. This lead to me having to start my first day of work without being able to wash! Advance warning would have prevented this as we then had to call out the emergency engineer to activate our meters while awaiting replacement cards. Next the inventory was provided to us in a...

What agent could do to change your mind?
Simply apologise when they make a mistake instead of trying to shift the blame elsewhere and show some respect to customers who are wishing to place a complaint rather than the rude manner I was approached with.

MSE had a property I was interested so I send a message, via Zoopla, saying I'd like to view it. They responded quickly the next morning by email and leaving a message, so I was quite impressed. I called back and spoke to a friendly and engaged agent at some length describing what I was looking for. I lived here for 6 years and during that time they did the minimum required and mostly badly. For instance when the boiler died they did change it but did not decorate to any level. Pipes left open and no effort to hide it. And this was above a work surface used to prepare meals. When you call as a tenant you often get the impression you are wasting their time. - Respond to queries quickly and appropriately - Take into account the age and level of disrepair of the property and push back on the landlord when checking out - Repair faults - If repairing faults do them properly
