I rented a property with these and at first things were great all repairs that needed doing were listed and promise of them being fixed was there when I moved in . I\'m on benefits so was paid fortnightly to which I took every 2 wks to the office but my benefits and rent due date overlapped , countless calls from them to me with the threat of being kicked out ( even though for 10 days of the month I was in credit) if all rent wasn\'t paid on date due , so with my parents help I managed this. Whe...

I was a tenant for 2 years and could never get any help with any repairs, my floors were collapsing and had big holes in and I was in a flat on the 2nd floor, when I asked for them to be repaired due to their age and condition I just got told someone would be round, it was a shame as the property could have been lovely and was wasted on this company, my boiler never worked I had to get outsiders in to repair it and then send the bill to Malcolm directly as I only ever dealt with him, not that it...

Without exagguration,I must have rung them at least 60+ times! Not ONCE have they ever RUNG me! Asked to be rung back countless times!! never happened!! Early on ,they told me I was definitely abler to move into a property,so gave mine up,to then be told no!!! Been waiting another FIVE days til they can be bothered to try and get me in at a new add...

I was a tenant with Malcolm Gold for approximately 10 months. When I moved in to the house there were a number of problems including a shower which leaked from upstairs, blocked drains, broken and unusable plug sockets, broken door handles....grafitti inside the fitted wardrobes, old furniture left belonging to the owner, dints in the walls, the list was endless. Twice I was visited for an inspection and all of these things were addressed but nothing was ever done. I wasn't happy because I was p...

Malcolm Gold didn't answer my calls, as they over took on too many properties. It was a real shame that work hadn't been done like they said they would do. In fact that it was non existent, leaving my tenants with leaking roofs, leaking windows, guttering with drill holes through it. Worst and worst tenants, higher churn and higher proportional ratio of squatted property, tenants refusing to pay for 3-6 months at a time. Contracts that were mis-written so that it would take longer to section 21 ...

They let precious properties for me and they promised me they would take great care of the property. They allowed a leaking roof and guttering to get worse and worse. I pleading with them to fix the issue but it became worse and worse. I now have a lawsuit against me from the tenant since a bit of the ceiling and wall has 'hit' the main names tenant wife and child. Terrible service just brought me trouble. All the floor and walls are soaked ... I now have serious dry rot and wet rot issues in...

As soon as they have you in a contract, they aren't interested. They mess you about when things need fixing. Their 'emergency' number goes to an answer machine. The most recent problem from them is there was a leak coming from our toilet which was damaging the downstairs flat. Their qualified plumber came to 'fix' it. He left the toilet handle loose and now has a worse leak than it did before, flooded the bathroom. Unable to use the toilet now and cannot get in touch as their emergency number is...
