Had a particular difficult relationship with a previous large company resulting in a complaint to the ombudsman. Had been left with a trashed apartment an an unresponsive letting agency. Discussed this on a personal level with john Noonan who immediately responded and took control of the situation. This company provided me with the reassurance and absolute understanding of the importance of looking after our property whilst we were in Australia. Appreciating the emotional attachment to our home , John and Jane were very supportive in finding suitable tenants . We have a good relationship with LD Property and our Landlord Simon, and although we were concerned that Simon would be out of the country for a long period, on the only occasion we have needed help, LD came though for us and sorted our heating problem quickly and supported us with heaters while it was being fixed. Overall very pleased and happy with where we live and LD who look after us....

Comment on agent fees
In my opinion agents fees are all too high, so this is not a criticism of LD property per se, but I also understand they have a business to run, and fees therefore have to be paid.

I have recently been the process of gaining my property back through the courts due to non payment of rent. It could have been a real nightmare and I am glad that I did not have to do this on my own. John and the team at LD Property were really helpful and efficient assisting me at Court and with all the associated stages of the process. I am sure that without the assistance and expertise I could have been many thousands of pounds down....

Understand that business will always work best on reputation. I would have been happy to recommend you to others had you dealt with this bad situation in a good manner. However, you chose to play the blame game and belittle my intelligence. I think you can guess what that means.

I am really sorry that you feel so aggrieved with LD Property Management it is certainly not how we would want to be perceived. We pride ourselves on giving excellent customer service, which many of our clients enjoy and it is disappointing when we receive negative feedback. LD Property Management are the most incompetent company I have ever dealt with. The staff are rude, clueless, blatantly lie and they fob you off at every opportunity. We found a property to rent with LD Property management. Our deposit was accepted and all was going well until charges for referencing on top of admin fees were requested. This was not made clear at the start. We questioned the extra charges and stated admin fees should cover it. The company then pulled the flat from under us stating the landlord did not want people like us in the property!!!! A day later the flat was advertised at an increased monthly rate! I would like to clarify that we always disclose our fees when conducting a viewing of a property and issue a helpful information sheet disclosing all of our possible fees and charges before entering into a contract. Unfortunately, we do not know what other Letting Agents charge when giving a reference and that is what happened here, as the prospective tenants refused to pay the fee by their previous Letting Agents we could not complete the referencing, therefore, we had to re-market the propert....

After seeing a 'perfect' house, I contacted the agent to arrange a viewing, and was greeted on the telephone by a rude, snobby woman!! I was told we could only view the house when THEY were in the area!! Do they want to rent this house out?! I would definately recommend a more 'chilled out' and helpful customer service! They need to remember that we are the customer, therefore do as much as you can to help that person - less negativity!!

I'm sorry that I haven't been able to make a comment sooner as I have only just been made aware of this site. We always try to accommodate times for viewings to suit prospective tenants, however, we have to plan our routes when we have a number of properties being marketed at the same time. We do try to conduct viewings within our office hours and regularly conduct them out of office hours. I'm sorry that we couldn't meet your requirements.....

Wr do our best to retunr the deposit as soon as possible and the only hold up is where there has been a dipute which are far and few between or if we are waiting for a contractor to complete a job that the tenant is responsible for. On occassions the tenant has refused to ok a job and has delayed the deposit.....

Tenants beware! I am a tenant renting a property through LD Property Management in Salisbury. Their appalling customer service and shocking rudeness has made me no longer wish to live in this house even though I love it. I am very sorry if this client had a bad experience with us, most of our tenants have been with us a long time and a lot come to us first if they are moving. However on occassions things certainly go wrong and I cannot answer this fully as I do not know which client this was.....
