Signed up for Pattinsons auction with Marie. I was told too late for the September auction would would be OK for Octobers auction. As the fees are very high the reason being for the auctioneer, the printing of the catalogue and the room price, agreed. October came not entered in the auction just on the daft online page which costs no more than selling normally. Why would I sign up for 3-4 times the cost of selling normally, why would my friend and cousin also, have booked a lieu day from work...

I wanted to put a house up for auction and Pattinsons valued it at £125,000-£130.00 as did two other agents. Within four days before the house had gone to auction I was told (by the auction staff) I had an offer of £80,000 and I was expected to take it. I paid them £780.00 for nothing, and I have not had one reply back from the Mr Justin Beckwith or their accounts where I sent e-mails to complain. I thought it was law to reply within 3 days I have since sold this house wi...

Yes my experience with this company has been really bad too. I was mislead into believing my house would go to auction, Maria stated I was too late for the September auction but would be OK for the October auction. Well roll on 12th December and I am free of this company. The online auction is an absolute joke, if somebody offers the price you have to accept it, fees are around £4000 more than selling normally. Do not sign up for the auction beware - I was conned. Keith Pattinson han ...

This place is a complete joke, staff are rude and they do not understand the word confidential at all. Property which they advertise are not fit for living in, not sure if they understand what health and safety means. Avoid using these cowboys at all costs. Wish I'd seen this page before committing and losing a lot of hard earned money. Waste of space....

I have dealt with some crappy companies in my 40 years of life but never have I dealt with a bunch of jokers like Pattinson's! Trying to rent a property locally and the attitude of the staff at the Ashington branch is appalling, they are sarcastic, cheeky and generally obnoxious, they lie deliberately to you to get you to sign up or shut up, they accuse you of causing trouble and holding things up when they and their sidekick company (Letalliance) are the ones that are inefficient and badly man...

An absolute nightmare to deal with. Even the simplest query had to be asked several times before an answer was given and when it was finally answered it was done so in a very rude manner. It felt like information was purposely being withheld to try and push me into signing the leases before the date which I had agreed upon, which I'd been told the landlord was fine with. They then stated they were unaware of this being agreed and that it needed to be signed ASAP but then later changed this stanc...

After trying several different avenues to sell our house, with no success we settled for a sale via auction, using Pattinsons. "Ian" our appointed agent was very helpful throughout the whole process and we did manage to sell. The one thing I would advise is to put a realistic reserve in place and ensure you are selling to cash buyers only. Don't expect to walk away with mega bucks, as most of the people at auction are after a bargain but if you've tried everything else, this is definit...

I had a terrible experience when trying to sell a flat with Pattinson's. The descriptions and pictures were terrible, the sign was in the wrong place, they constantly struggled with locks and alarms at the property, and I had to chase them all the time for feedback. Then when my contracted ended I told them I was moving to another estate agent they still continued to advertise the property and even after 8 weeks I'm still chasing them. I would avoid these guys....

Avoid, avoid, avoid! One star is too high for them and I would reward them with nothing if I could. They treat cutomers with no respect and constantly give misleading information in order to get a sale. Headquarters are no better logging unproven and untruthful comments about what has been said in order to avoid refunds to customers. This has to be the worst estate agents ever. Do not trust them!...

I am letting a property with Reeds Rains estate agents (highly recommend them) I came to the property one day and found Pattinsons had screwed and bolted a to let board to the side of my house. Their board blocked the Reeds Rains board and was cracked, dis-colored and missing a corner in short it looked awful. I called Pattinsons and spoke to Kerry I told her I was unhappy and wanted it removed asap, Kerry said she had ordered a board for a different house in the street and would get it moved (n...

Haha, love the fact that there is no hint of apology in Shona's comment. Regardless of whether the subcontractor was at fault or not here, the landlady is rightly pissed off, and it's Pattinson's brand that's at stake. As a manager, Shona could have seen this as an opportunity to turn this around, left the woman with a better view of Pattinson's and maybe even left her with the option to use them to sell the property if Reeds Rains fell through. Fail. ...

I am still looking for a house so I do not want to go into details of why I am writing a negative review in case it makes the service even poorer. I will just say that I spoke to a few different members of staff and after a few mistakes had been made on their end, I received no apologies and little was done to rectify the situation. When I am looking for houses now, the only way I would go for a Pattinson's property, would be if it looked like the perfect house for me. As their pictures and de...

No respect from the agency at all. My husband and I were going to view a property at 12pm this morning in Benton NE3.
