I have dealt with some crappy companies in my 40 years of life but never have I dealt with a bunch of jokers like Pattinson's! Trying to rent a property locally and the attitude of the staff at the Ashington branch is appalling, they are sarcastic, they lie deliberately to you to get you to sign up or shut up, they accuse you of causing trouble and holding things up when they and their sidekick company (let alliance) are the ones that are inefficient and badly managed......

A proactive agency, giving us feedback quickly after each viewing. Both Shanelle and, in particular, Tom liaised on many occasions between buyer, solicitors and ourselves in order to try and speed up the process. We found them very helpful and professional. I am letting a property with Reeds Rains estate agents (highly recommend them) I came to the property one day and found Pattinsons had screwed and bolted a to let board to the side of my house. Haha, love the fact that there is no hint of apology in Shona's comment. Regardless of whether the subcontractor was at fault or not here, the landlady is rightly pissed off, and it's Pattinson's brand that's at stake. As a manager, Shona could have seen this as an opportunity to turn this around, left the woman with a better view of Pattinson's and maybe even left her with the option to use them to sell the property if Reeds Rains fell through. Fail.....

Terrible service from a terrible company, avoid at all costs. Blatantly mis-sold an auction contract and now refuse to acknowledge complains and give contract termination date. Staff are quick to respond to possible sales but terrible at replying to customer complaints. Probably the worst company i've ever used for ANYTHING.. They have been a nightmare since day one,when we took on the property a few years ago they quoted us a lower figure for deposit/fees. It was รƒยฏร‚ยฟร‚ยฝ100 more than expected so I had to borrow money. The required us both to have gaurantors which was a long and gruelling process. Just recently purchased a flat at auction. We viewed the property twice and asked all the questions that I knew I needed to know. I asked on three occasions how long was left on the lease and in them 3 occasions I was told 57years. Remember the prospective viewers really want to spend hundreds of thousands of pounds, some of which will come to you. Remember you are acting for the vendors, and if you put off viewers, you will not be popular with vendors.

I paid Pattinsons ร‚ยฃ4380,00 in Nov 2013 for a auction property and as the terms stated that i complete the deal with in 56 days. It is now March 2014 and i decided I wanted a full refund of the deposit. But I was told i would get a refund but only ร‚ยฃ3,600 back and not the admin fee.
