I was duped in to signing a guarantor form for a tenant. I was only shown 1 page by the tenant to sign and was told it was a reference form only. I spoke to a lady at their Walsall office who explained to me that the form I was signing was just as a referee and that the tenancy was for 6 months only. If the tenant could show they are a good tenant then they would renew for another 6 months. At the time I had just lost my Father and was suffering from severe disability, mobility and depression. I have dealt with Homepoint for over 10 years and they have become worse year by year. I have to keep chasing money from my tenants and still don't receive payments. Do not let this company let your property if you want regular payments passed on to you. I have always had discrepancies with them but they have now got to rock bottom. I think that it's time to call it a day ...
