After a decent service from Homebuyers during our tenancy, we had a very negative ending to our tenancy. Homebuyers wanted to take approx 90% of our deposit, complaints included scuffs to the mail box and plug sockets, a ridiculous cleaning fee (£300 on a 2 bed terrace) ...

Would not recommend this agency to anyone. The staff are so rude- especially Julie in the lettings office. Constantly fobbed off by them, they promise to fix things but don't get them fixed, no sense of urgency from them other than to get your money. ...

Excellent Agent. They stood up for me against a tenant who was used to bullying his way through life and made sure I received what was fair from their deposit. Can't thank them enough xxx...

The worst experience I've ever had renting a property. The staff on the lettings side are rude, unprofessional liars. Repairs take months to complete. They entered the property without my permission then lied and said they'd not been round. They botched all jobs with incompetent ...

We had a similar experience at the end of our tenancy. We lost all our deposit after taking great care of our rented house, we may as well have trashed the place, we'd be no worse off. Extortionate cleaning charges despite us spending hours cleaning and charges for general wear and tear, as in scuffs to the mailbox and plug sockets, on a very old house. We were also charged for marks caused by their own workmen. They have to be the most pedantic and unfair agency I've encountered in 14 year ...

Do not use this agency to rent a property through. Should you have the unfortunate experience of doing so make sure you aren't fobbed off by their poor inventory and take responsibility to photos of everything before and after (if they even let you attend ...

Excellent service from the lettings team. They manage my properties so well I have now given them complete control of all repairs and decision making and the service just gets better!...

Do not touch this Agency in any format. Unprofessional, untrained, incompetent and discourteous. Issues I had when dealing with them while they managed my property while I was abroad: 1) Failed to obtain a Gas certificate (legal requirement) 2) Failed to notice damage to property rear door ...

DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY! Landlord wanted the house back due to "relationship break down" which was fair enough, but Homebuyers moved landlord back into our property BEFORE our tenancy was up and without any prior warning. Moved him in whilst we were ...

Any deductions made from a deposit would have been instructed by your landlord and supported by an inventory which you will have checked and signed prior to the commencement of the tenancy. We do not conduct a "move in" with a landlord as no inventory would be required at that point. As such his statement is clearly false. We do not have control over any decision made by a landlord although we would never encourage them to enter a property prior to the tenancy end date. ...
