Three years ago, I used the services of Homebells (245 Mitcham Road Tooting, Tooting, SW17 9JQ) by letting my property. They found me a tenant and then I agreed with the tenant for the deposit to be managed by Homebells by putting it into a deposit scheme and then asked the estate agent to send me the Deposit Certificate. I am a landlord of 10 properties and have had a very bad experience with Homebells estate agents. The agency owner promised me a rent guaranteed scheme which he has not kept, actually he is in debt with me over ‚£30000.00! which is going to cost me to take them to court which is impossible as he has no assets or money, that\'s what he tells me. I have tired to contact him and his agency many and many times and all I get is he will call you or stop calling us or we will call the police....

This Landlord gave us 3 of his properties and not 10 on a commercial lease and later pretented we were acting as his agent only. The properties were in complete run down condition which required extensive refurbishments. He agreed to a fixed term of 5 years and then after about 7 months when We had invested around over £30,000 in bringing all properities to a livable standard, spent on building works, white goods, furnitures etc, the landlord decided to sell the property looking that his prop....

Please do not be sucked in by this agents lies. They are currently under investigation by Wandsworth council for a long list of wrong doings. You will not receive your bond money back and their properties do not meet basic regulations. Unprofessional and highly dodgy....

This company should not be in business, the most unprofessional and unreliable team you will ever come across. Please note we are 10 people in this house, no living room, only a kitchen. We were without a proper working boiler for 6 months, request after request was ignored. We were told to boil water from the kettle to have hot showers in the freezing mornings. Completely untrue, the boiler was covered by Homecare insurance and they installed a brand new boiler within 3 days Max. The British Gas Covered for hot plates and heaters which they provides directly. The mere fact was that this tenant made it a reason not to pay any rent and then brought his g.friend to live with him without prior consent, cause nuisance to the other occpants by having loud parties and then finally left when the rest of the co-tenants asked him to leave as they could take no m....

I\'ve had a very terrible time with homebells. They\'ve refused to pay me back my deposit after I moved out. They just ignore my texts and calls and are totally refusing to pay me back. I\'d advise people to be very careful when dealing with this agent! I wouldn\'t recommend this agent to anyone, They are not reliable, not organised and not trust worthy....

This perons deposit was returned back to her in June 2013 within the time limits allicated in the agreement she signed. It was necessary that that procedure was followed to allow the agent reasonable time to process the payment as soon as administratively possible. Miss Doreen demanded her deposit to be refunded on the same day that she left the property. Unfortunately this was not possible under the agreement. She was annoyed that it wasnt paid on thesame day. However she was paid in June 201....

Let my property via homebells estates, provided me with letting only service initially, was reliable and they find a tenant for me with resasonable time and price. Then management of my property since 2 years and I have been very impressed with them overall, an excellent and honest service....

Dishonest agent; took a deposit from the tenant, saying he would pay it into a deposit scheme, then didn\'t. When the tenancy was ending, did not return deposit; after much hassle, agreed to return deposit in stages! Tenants would pay rent in on time, but the agency would not forward automatically to me without me chasing them, and sometimes a month late! Would not recommend as a landlord....
