I received excellent customer service when dealing with the sale of my house. Staff were all very professional, helpful at all times and nothing was any trouble. They kept me informed every step of the way and ensured I was happy with all viewings and times. They made the whole process of selling stress free. I'd highly recommend them to all my friends and family in the future....

can only describe has the worse experience we have had from both buying and selling ,no communication just excuses ,over value your house then say its about area , no viewings even though other properties did, and when it comes to buying even worse cant be bothered to chase up things you do the work...

Do not put your house in their hands. Their laziness astounds me. If you don't want to sell quickly and literally want to throw your money away go with Hannells. They will put an ad on Rightmove and that's your lot. You won't hear from them at all, but when you call them they will actively encourage you to drop the price. Even though they valued it in the first place! Everyone I have spoken to has had a bad experience. Take your chances elsewhere but if you are that stupid negotiate a 6 week con...

Im sorry you have not received the level of service that you should of , i see from the comments that you were a prospective customer , may i point out that there is nothing sneaky about our withdrawal fee, it is pointed out at every point of the contract and to ensure this we get our clients to witness all pages of our contract , and i believe we are the only agents who do this, and i do believe yo will find withdrawal fee with 99% of all agents , this is not some snidy practice and as for 6 ...

We've been letting a property through Hannells for 9months. In month 2 we advised Hannells of crucial repairs that needed doing to the property. These are the Landlords responsibility under the tenancy agreement and the Landlord and Tenant Act. Since then the property has further fallen into disrepair and caused damage to our car. im sorry , but i saw picture of both the car and tile , so you are saying a slate roof tile, fell 18 ft of roof hit your car scratched it in two directions , no dent and the tile then hit a blocked paved driveway and didnt smash , whilst landing aproximately 3 ft away from the car ,ill let people make there own mind up ...

This service leaves a lot to be desired. Service adviser called and was very rude and impolite. Asked my why I 'had not been to a mortgage adviser's appointment' which was in a week's time! Someone had booked my appointment in the diary on the incorrect date. When she realised she had made a mistake, she didn't bother apologising. I had to ask for an apology. Worse company in the world!!!! Full of b.s to me and the vendor! They over value houses by over £20k and deny its their fault when it falls through! 2 valuations state it was worth 20k less and they still say they valued it correctly. Plus they lie through their teeth to get you to go higher, making up fantom people who have put a bid in? Plus they stretch photos to make rooms and gardens 5 x bigger than they are! no we do not make up phantom offers in any way whatsoever , and we valued the house at current market condtions, someone agreed to purchase the property at that price, it was down valued by the surveyor for the mortgage company , if it had been a cash buyer this vendor would of been singing our praises , but i understand the dissapointment felt after the surveyor downvalued it , had it been a different surveyor the outcome could well of been different , and we dont lie to get you to go higher , ...

My property was up for sale for 2 years and during that time the marketing was crap! My daughter provided a large payment to cover sale of herhouse and solicitor fees. Whilst the house was for sale they constantly had to chase them to get viewings and felt as if the staff were not interested. Unfortunately due to personal circumstances they could not proceed to sell and requested money back which was not used for the legal side of the sale. Despite only a few adverts and little help from the sales team they refused any refund. I would definately not recomend use of this agent....

The lady in question agreed to use our services, we offered two types of package, because the market wasn't very good at this time, we offered our normal fee, which the lady would have had to pay our fees , solicitors fees buying and selling , and EPC charges, or we offered a greatly reduced fee (To assist people to get on the market), which included all the of the services mentioned , this enabling her to budget the move more easily, and also saving hundreds of pounds on normal fees. we did as ...

Worst agent I have dealt with. I have used several agencies in the past and Hannells is by far the worst in terms of service and professionalism. They constantly duplicate charges on my monthly statements which means they make me wait another month for a refund. Copies of the paperwork are never given and communication is very poor. Hannels failed to provide a copy of the tenancy agreement, until requested: and even then the landlord's obligations pages were missing, and they also failed to provide out of hours emergency phone numbers (which I have only found out due to having frozen pipes and no water. Dreadful lettings agency. Staff never give feedback on viewings. You always have to chase them, they never keep you informed. The staff are nice but they\'re predominantly young and inexperienced - and clearly nobody is spending any time training them on best practice. Very uncooperative, very untrustworthy, very unreliable. At times downright rude. They were very friendly till our offer was accepted and then became extremely difficult to deal with, refusing to even answer the most basic questions. Very shady organisation. (We dealt with the Allestree branch). They made the process of buying a house very, very difficult. I hope people will stay clear of them....
