These two members of Hancocks staff have been exceptional in their willingness, generosity of time given, courteousness and communication. I recently purchased a property and nothing was too much trouble. They have kept me fully informed and that has been so helpful. I can't recommend highly enough. DO NOT RENT WITH THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE MONEY GRABBING IDIOTS WHO DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR TENANTS. My house was and still is a health hazard, with black mold everywhere and a broken boiler/heating. We had an awful experience with Hancock and Partners and would not deal with them again. We have since seen promising looking properties advertised by Hancock's and decided not to consider viewing them because of our experience. Here is a list of things that happened during our tenancy: The day we moved in we found the kitchen severely damaged due to a flood from the flat above. Reasonably pleased with the fees as they were cheaper than Johnson Wood and others. Still feel that agent fees for tenants are really bad news when one thinks the rent being paid.

Looking at Hancock and partners reviews I was so shocked because I am a current tenant and they have been really good, they always call me back when they say they will and they are always polite and friendly. I recently had a cupboard fall off in my kitchen and someone was out that day, even minor problems are seen to quickly....

We rented a house though Hancock's for 3 years and found them nothing but helpful and polite. they seem to have changed staff though the past year but the current team are quick and helpful if you have any issues. When we had a problem with leaking taps they had a handyman out to us within an hour....

I'm not sure which agent the others reviewers have been using but it is not the Hancock's that I dealt with, After a good informative phone call with Jonny (sales manager) he came round and valued my property for sale that day. A valuation came back quickly and he valued it at a reasonable figure which seemed good compared to the rest (some agents valued it way above what it was worth just to get my trade). I have been a tenant of Hancock's twice, the first as a student and second as a couple. The first time I was treated like a second class citizen who's point or complaints were ignored, while living in a property not raven fit for a battery hen. I lost count how many times I woke up in bed to find a letting agent standing above my bed showing new tenants around. Very unprofessional. I once returned a call from them and was told that they had no idea why I had been called but they were sure someone would call me again if it was important. Conversations and agreements were promptly forgotten about. A considerable amount of money owed to me was only repaid after several phone calls. Problems I reported to them were never passed on to the landlord....

Really just want to warn people not to use this appalling agents. Perhaps landlords get more response and respect but they all treat tenants like dirt. Not a single person working there understands \'customer service\' or \'manners\'. Obviously far too much to ask of them. To be honest, we would have been quite impressed if someone had just replied to our emails or returned our phone calls. Worst company I have ever dealt with, rude, unresponsive, unlawful and just generally slack. We have rented with them for the past right months- cutting our year contract short because of how we\'ve been treated. IT was a dreadful experience renting a property through Hancocks and not one I would wish on my worst enemy. The staff were rude and inefficient and arrived late with the keys on the first day when my removal men were waiting to get in.. In the 12 years that I have been a tenant in rental properties I have never, ever had such poor, lackadaisical service as I have had with Hancock and Partners. I used to rent from Hancocks about 3 years ago. At the time I would have never used them again. I have the same problem. Stuck with a property that has it's health issues, landlord doesn't even want to hear about it, the staff is awful and rude, the manager doesn't even know what he is doing, he lies all the time!!! Be aware and do not use them no matter the property!!!....
