What an awful experience! I saw a house for sale with good moves, arranged a viewing and put in an offer during the viewing. That was on Saturday... I have sold my house so I'm in a good position as a buyer. Having not heard i went into the office Monday afternoon, apparently they 'had just' got of the phone from the vendor and would get back to me. Beware! a warning to all landlords! Jane Murray-wood is a scam artist! We used Goodmoves to look after 2 of my properties and at first everything was running smoothly, rent was coming in on time etc. After 6 months, rent for one of the properties had stopped and when I spoke to Jane she advised us that she is doing all she can to chase up rent from the tenants, over the next 13 months we we're receiving the odd rent here and there, ending up with around £6k in rent arrears. In just over four weeks, the Good Moves team had completed the sale of our house. I found Jane, Martyn and Phil to be very accessible and informative, demonstrating excellent knowledge of the current market and local area. The team ensured the selling process was as stress free as possible and i would definitely recommend using this estate agent to anybody thinking about selling their property. Especially those who are buying/selling in Woolton....

Health Warning - your money is not safe using this business. Reading other reviews the tales of woe appear to have a common theme: excuses after excuse for non-payment, Internet breaches, bank security issues, not receiving emails, next door's cat dying, you name it, you'll hear excuse after excuse from the team at Good Moves lead by Ms Murray-Wood. Jane very helpful and had lots of chats/updates, she gave lots of good advice. Also, Daniel was excellent with his updates and feedback, I liked how he worked to keep in touch and provide updates when requested. The valuation I felt was too high from the off, but wasn't an issue as we started with a lower price. I would use Goodmoves again - I have never been very impressed with the majority of estate agents, but felt that they did generally buck that trend....

After considerable poor levels of service,constant chasing of my rental monies owed. The constant excuses ranging from change of I.T system, Banking issues.Believe me Jane Murray has pulled this for far too long. I am sure judging by the other frustrated and upset landlords, Goodmoves will get more than just our CCJ from the Solciitor. We are not professional landlords,we just people who inherited a property and thought we had a quality company to deal with us. WE WERE VERY WRONG!...

I found the service I recieved from Jane and martin was excellent. Information I received was clear and any query I had was dealt with to my satisfaction. They met prospective buyers at the house for me and gave me advice regarding offers made. Although the final selling price was below the original valuation, they explained to me the merits of the offer made in the market as it was at the time. (It was a cash offer with no chain for a quick sale)...

Following the Death of my aunt and the need to sell her house, I felt that Jane was sympathetic but also very helpful and very well informed on the house market. On contacting Jane and Martin over any queries, they were always very prompt to respond and made a difficult situation as easy as possible....

We used this company a while back - it was the worst decision we made. This woman is not fit to run a company nor be responsible as a letting agent. After several calls and meetings to rectify the failure to pass over all the of rents we achieved very little. Finally Goodmoves was sacked by us and civil legal proceedings instigated. I see from her response to other complainants that she still is trying to stifle by threat of her solicitor bringing libel and/or slander actions - this will neve...

Landlord beware, I am owed over 1000 pounds.Everyday is a new reason or excuse.I am now in touch with a solicitor.I would urge anyone who is currently dealing with this company to act fast. Jane Murray every time hides or makes excuses for what seems to be blatant misuse of funds. The opened for a couple of weeks I hear in Hoylake in the Wirral. I would urge this landlord to contact our Woolton office immediately so that I can discuss this matter. This landlord should remember that there are defamation and lebel laws in this country and whilst i have no intention as yet of escalating this matter, to write unsustaniated material about 'misuse' of funds, is inappropriate and this website itself needs to be more careful about filtering such comments before putting them live. I am absolutely committed to discussing any outstanding balances....

I have been owed over 800 pounds by Goodmoves for over a year and a half. I email and phone constantly - and only get a reply when I threaten legal action. Good Moves managed my rental property. Sad to report that Good Moves / Jane Murray-Wood still owes me in excess of £1000.00 in rent that my tenant paid to them last year. Thank you, Sheila for your comments in relation to the service levels you received whilst we managed your property. It is disappointing for us as a Company when things go wrong, and the relationship between client and agent breaks down, whatever the reason. In this instance, I admit that in relation to the account management of your property, we did not deliver our usual high standards of service and you decided to go to legals to resolve the issue. This estate agents is not affiliated with any governing body so it is difficult to get any redress. Jane Murray (or Murray-Wood as she calls herself) gives the impression that this is her estate agency. She is not a director or secretary, her partner is so again no redress if you try to get your money back from her. I did work for them and they refused to pay. I took them to court and got judgement but cannot get any money from them....

As I am married to my husband, I have every right to call myself by my married name whilst still retaining my former name. I am not aware of any law which prevents me from having a double barrel name, so lets keep personals out of these reviews please.
