Although Goadsbys were working for the vendor, they always treated me with respect, returning calls and responding to my enquiries in good time. Also, when lawyers were dragging their heels, Josie did what she could to jolly them along. Communication was very poor. Often we had to chase multiple times to get even a reply from them, let alone a resolution to whatever issue we were chasing about at the time. Staff were totally disinterested in helping. Issues raised often dragged on for months without a satisfactory resolution....

Never dealt with such a poor unprofessional, disorganised, school boy outfit. Staff do not know what is required, I suggest that serious training is given or a rethink if the uninterested staff actually want to work in the industry at all! Appalling unfair treatment of tenants. For one tenant, the total fees charged will be more than £700!!!!! Never honest or upfront about this. Steer well clear. I was charged Referencing fees £180 + Inventory £100 + Contract fee of £78 + Deposit registration £30 (=£388) plus first months rent plus six weeks deposit. Now that I wish to move out after 15 months living at the property. They demand £120 arrangement fee + £110 inventory fee + £5...

Brilliant could not rate them higher. I had the worst house sale in the world, in the whole history of it! Fiona worked really hard to get everything done as, solicitors on all sides (as usual) made a chocolate fireguard seem indispensable! Fiona bent over backwards to help me, alongside her colleague martin. they both earned their wages that year. To be fair you signed a 12 month agreement, with a two month notice clause meaning that if you want to leave the property at the end of your contract you need to give 2 moths notice, it doesn't mean that you can leave the contract early! The initial term (12 months in your case) is the MINIMUM term so they were perfectly within their rights to refuse to allow you to leave the tenancy early and/or without costs. Suggest you understand what you are signing before you slate the agent!! ...

Awfull company, agents rude and definitely had delusions of grandeur, had terrible problems with damp which were never dealt with, when we finally moved out Goadby tried to deduct £750 from our deposit, we ended up going through TDS, they ended up deducting only £15, says it all really. Make sure you check all the fees and get it written down, whenever the tenancy is up they will try to charge you hundreds of pounds to renew it. This agency is an absolute nightmare! They try to cheat you and take money from you whenever they can! Disgusted with the way we have been treated by this company as tenants of a property that they manage. . Rude, onoxious staff who can't even be bothered to respond to emails advising of repair issues etc and can't manage to arrange repairs on propertys that they are supposedly managing. Original letter of complaint dismissed by Director of Goadsby. Complaint should have been investigated through the correct channels instead of a reply being sent to us within 30 mins denying any bad service or unprofessional behavour. Also included in the reply was a reminder that if the agreed commission was not paid by the deadline date interest would be then be charged on a daily basis.
