by going to these auctions and doing my research on what they have to offer i see them none other than an estate agent that draws a bunch of buyers in to try make a sale, not for a bargain price but for the full asking price the property was for sale for with a previous agent in the past, its easy to see, google the adress youll see the asking price before it went to this auction and they still wont let it go till it reaches that asking price, they dont describe the state or condition of the propert...

example; bungalow invergordon guide ‚£35,000 on thurs 27th oct auction edin, they describe as not habitable, but forget to mention that it had a land slide and half the house was caved in at the back 2 year previous to the auction with an insurance estimate of ‚£100,000 to repair it,some poor bugger bought it thinking he had a bargain and there isnt any bargains to be found here, aother example is, Crook O Ness Street, Macduff, Aberdeenshire, guide ‚£65000 they make out on the description itl make 2x2 bed flats with a guesed value like they always do,but its sheer lies,in actual fact the property is a listed building and covered by historical scotland who are keeping an eye on it regularly,it now listed as high risk, this is why the owner who thought he could renovate it stopped the works and put into aution, but this auction company fail to tell the audiance at autions, this company wont last very long with the unscrupulous way that they operate, the sooner the media and rip off Britain is called the better and stop these people from Ripping People Off. my advice is share there bad conduct on social networks, already they have taken there Facebook page down because of the complaints,so all should move onto our twitters and take them down like honey G says :-) over priced fees compared to auction house who charge ‚£500 not ‚£2000 plus 1% plus vat WTF

Having worked with John on the buy and sell side, I can highly recommend working with him. He is very punctual, responding to emails and queries almost immediately. Once a property has been sold, he keeps an eye on it to ensure the end to end process stays on track. He also knows his market very well and can give you an opinion if you're looking for some expert advice....

I used Future Properties to sell a defunct Pub and Restaurant in Arbroath, Scotland. Mr. Morris and the Future Properties team worked to get me the best sale price for my property. I had tried other agents and they were giving me best offers around 125,000.00 over a course of several months. I went with future properties and in a very short period of time Mr. Morris got me over 195,000.00 for my property. He worked for me! I could not thank him enough! Future Properties is professional comp...

I believe this is an unscrupulous auction house which works together with an unscrupulous quantity surveyor and unscrupulous solicitor to scam buyers out of deposits. The home report used to sell the property was toilet paper and not recognised by mortgage lenders. When I attempted to arrange access to the flat to have a proper survey carried out I was denied access (apparently this is legal). I therefore could not apply for a mortgage. I stood to lose my deposit of 10%. Incredibly stressful. Th...

Who are the people writing the positive reviews cos if it is that amazing then as a cash buyer I would suggest my experience means you are losing out. I was interested in a large Church property that was being advertised in Alexandria. In the space of 8 days, I visited the shop twice, emailed twice and phoned 3 times. They only phoned me back as I was driving to the airport where upon I was given the hard sell to put down a deposit depsite the fact that I told them I wanted to view and a...

I would expect all legitimate Estate Agents / Auctioneers to work in the best interests of their customer the seller and they should be ensuring that all potential buyers are checked out to get the best possible price for their Customer.

Approach with extreme caution if you are thinking of buying a property via this company. Their tactics are despicable. They will do everything possible to persuade you to put an offer in, including advising you other buyers are interested but that a low offer of £xxxx will guarantee the deal. They make it sound so appealing. You will be required to pay an immediate 10% plus fees. Do not believe the valuation they provide. They use a company virtually next door to their Glasgow office. A ...

Having purchased a property through FPA before and then close to making a cash offer for a second property I decided not to bother with this totally unprofessional outfit. Don't bother emailing them as they never respond, even to complaints. Jeremy Griffith I know for a fact reads the emails as I have two read receipts from him. He doesn't even have the courtesy to respond. Probably too busy taking sellers fees from clients and then happy to let the properties sit on their books forever. ...

In fact, their appointed surveyor failed to notice that the entire block of flats was subject to a compulsory Council maintenance order! The experience caused so much stress....

All properties sold at public auction in the UK are offered as they exist currently with no warranties or research made by the auctioneer. What we do guarantee is a marketable title to the advertised property. At the point of purchase the buyer confirms that they have made all investigations as it is an instant conclusion to the contract. This is a buyer who does not understand the fundamental principal of an auction nor have they made any research prior to bidding. All residential properties co....

Future helped me sell a property last year. They offer a wide range of houses, flats and land and the increase in lots coming to auction reflects the diabolical housing market in Scotland where vendors have not managed to sell via the high street agents. Anyone who writes a bad review has not applied caveat emptor (buyer beware) and the due dilligence required at auction. The fees and process are very transparent so blame yourself if you buy a turkey. What future are doing is bringing the Scotti...

A too good to be true 3 bedroom flat in plush condition is advertised on Future Property Auctions website for a guide price of just £15000. It wasn't in the best location so I thought this might explain in part why it was so cheap, however, of course I was wary about this property. I asked Future's salesman Robin why it was so cheap. He replied that the seller is looking at buying other commercial property and just wants a quick sale. So I made a stupid offer that I really thought the ...

Have dealt with them a few times now. Agree with previous post that they offer no help in communication with sellers: their attitude is take it or leave it - you won\'t get any more info! Their legal packs can be awful and of no use whatsoever, without necessary titles etc. They shafted me last year when I had literally just handed the keys back for a property (post auction - had been sitting on their books for months), they did not mention anyone else was interested and by the time I got home...

Dear Ingrid, As a sales based company, all of the legal packs are sent through to us from the solicitor appointed by the vendor. It is advised through our terms and conditions that any additional information can be investigated by the enquiring persons solicitor. Sales of any of our auction listings, are on a first come first serve basis, unless otherwise specified. Unfortunately whilst you were out with keys, an offer may have been accepted and monies paid for this. Offers can be made....

this is a very unproffesional company that should be avoided at all costs. They have stolen over £1000 from my associate who made an offer on a property, and despite not being able to come up with the deposit and mortgage, the company have debited her account with whatever they could get their hands on anyway. They then hide behind their terms and conditions rather than doing the right thing and returning the money they have taken....

We welcome all feedback. It is disappointing you feel £1000 was "stolen". Unfortunately, terms and conditions are there for a reason, they are readily available before submitting a property offer - we do not hide behind these. When submitting an offer the offering party should have noted the terms and conditions (In the middle of the offer form) and been aware that immediate deposit is taken to secure a property. Due to a high volume of sales we are unable to hold properties whi....

I had only inquired as to the availability of keys for a property I was interested in; I knew FPA didn\'t have them, I only wished to ask whether their availability could be quickened up by reflecting back to the seller that there is someone genuinely wishing to buy (cash purchase!) and in a hurry to do so. However what I feel I received was something akin to vitriolic one-sided arrogance about telephone etiquette and unwarranted abuse relating to an initial misunderstanding that I was never...
