Terrible service, incompetent at handling the simplest of things, very slow and unwilling to do anything, fraudulent and a little bit dodgy, it's like they just want the money and aren't willing to do the job wholeheartedly, literally don't even do the bare minimum they do less, they do nothing but take your money and hope you don't know your rights....

I was a tenant with Faulkners for nearly five years. They have been an excellent company/agent to rent from. They really do care and attended to the house on a regular 6month basis to check for maintenance. So from a Landlord and a tenant point of view they are always on top of the property. Jane was really nice and so helpful. She acted promptly to any issues/jobs that needed doing. I never had to wait very long. This was great, I've rented from other agencies and this has not been the case...

NEVER USE FAULKNER PROPERTY. While you are a tenent in one of their properties they have the worst customer service. I asked them over 10 times to repair the patio doors and my washing machine which were broken due to know fault of mine. You will also get charged an extortionate amount as a deposit and you will never get any of it back. I've never seen swindlers so shoddily disguised as estate agents in all the years I've been renting. We have a diligent complaints process and would be more than happy for you to address this with us directly to allow us to resolve your issue. Disputes at the end of tenancy are an emotive subject but remember the deposit is your money. Your landlord should protect your deposit in one of the government backed schemes within 30 days of receiving it. As a former tenant of Faulkner, my advice for all potential tenants is this: DON'T DO IT! Go to any other estate agents but them. My family and I have lived in Buckingham for over 25 years and my tenancy with Faulkner was the worst experience that any of us have had with estate agents. Its is an annual requirement to check all gas equipment in a property. Something we take very seriously. On Friday 10th October, both the boiler and hob were checked by a Gas Safe Engineer and were found not to be up to current regulations. Both units were shut down our office informed and advise given that it would be most effective to replace both units rather than try and effect repairs. The landlord was informed, agreed to replacement and agreed that both we as agent and he would seek quotes....

Avoid Faulkner Property like the plague. I have had the misfortune of being a tenant with them twice and I would never go back again. Faulkeners do not care about their tenants. The only time they care is when they are taking your money from you in the beginning. They do not encourage landlords to replace anything. One member of staff actually said to me \'We are here to protect the landlords\'. Which then in turn made me wonder who is there for us? I wish I had read this site before I moved in! We had very similar bad experiences. Turning up unannounced, very rude and unhelpful and find 100\'s of reasons to slap you with over the top charges for ridiculous things. Once you are in there is nothing you can do to stop this. Completely agree with all these comments going through the same thing now, my big issue, other than the ridiculously over the top charges on checkout for non-existent problems is the fact you don't see the contract until checkin when they spring all the check out fees on you, by then its too late to pull out as you have already paid the 100's checkin and admin fees. As this case is subject to a legal dispute it would be inappropriate for us to comment on specific points. There are two sides to every story and we feel we respond in a fair and appropriate manner. Nearly twenty years of growth suggest that Faulkner are providing a service of highest quality demanded by landlords. As ever if there is an issue you have with any part of our service the best way is to talk to someone about it rather than hide behind annonomous posts on a web site. Perhaps this is the problem. Regardless of anything else the flow of cash is from the tenant, via the agent, and finally to the Landlord/Owner. Therefore it's the tenant who should be cherished.....

Faulkner has a responsibility to its landlords and ensure only the nominated tenants are living in a property and will only inspect individual spaces when invited to do so by the tenant (who had a point to prove) Faulkner are very well of their contractual obligations as should the tenant be when it comes to paying the rent. Faulkner takes all the processes it carries out with maximum care and concern. We will not carry out an argument in public so look forward to any legal action instigated by ....
