Dexters are an average-to-poor estate agent but where they really fall down is their terrible property maintenance service. I have been waiting for 5 months for basic repairs to be done after a ceiling leak. Leaving us with unusable electrics. I've asked several times to get the property at least made safe but they have done nothing. I'm in the process of reporting them to the local council for this illegal state of disrepair....

Daniel was helpful over the phone and email and quick to get tenants into the flat and get all the admin sorted. Upon meeting him, very polite and happy to help. Without a doubt the worst estate agents I've ever had to deal with. They are completely incompetent, they lie, their fees change constantly (probably depending on what they feel that day) and it takes them at least a month to complete one simple task. They are horrendous and I wouldn't recommend them to a single person. I have been letting with Dexters since 2004 and my property has not been empty for one day. the Management team look after the property extremely well and keep me well informed. my only complaint is that for the first 10 years my property managers remained the same but in the last 4 years I have had 4 different managers which is not ideal. having said that, my current manager Craig Cox is absolutely BRILLIANT. Appalling service from start to finish, between myself and my two housemates we have experienced at least ten different lettings agencies since 2010 and by far our experience with Dexters has been the worst.
