The lettings manager needs to attend a course on Customer service as how she talks to customers is disgusting. Patronising and unprofessional. Doesnt return calls or emails. The worst customer service I have ever received....

Avoid renting through this company. Throughout my tenancy issues with property were not sorted and we're never followed up on. If you enjoy being treated like a child and not a professional person, and enjoy being patronised, then this is the company to go for. I would never use again....

I could have wrote this myself! Looks like we are not the only ones that had major issues with Derbyshire properties. All that posh logos and lovely office doesn't mean anything!! Avoid avoid avoid!!!!!!!!!!!!!....

I am currently in a tenancy agreement with Derbyshire Properties, and I have to say I am absolutely appalled. I have been living in the current property for over a year now, there are many issues. The kitchen is unsanitary, kitchen doors falling off, grouting around tiles almost none existent, leaking pipes, extreme amounts of mould and damp upstairs, windows that do not open and close correctly, insufficient heating, doors that do not close, mortar crumbling out of brickwork in various places,...

What agent could do to change your mind?
For me to approve they would have to be more in contact with there tenants and landlords once an issue has arisen, and keep everyone informed. They should become more aware of landlord and tenants rights, they should make sure their tenancy agreements do not have contradictory information, which is ultimately misleading and possibly invalidating agreements. They should also get expert opinions about structural faults, not sending out one of their employees that has less of a clue than myself. They should make landlords have inspections by the environmental health office before renting out the properties. Last but not least they should have manners!

The people that worked at this agent bullied us on a near daily basis during the sale of our property. We was recieving threat after threat from them. They also have it written into their contract that they are able to charge you regardless of whether the sale goes through or not. If your buyer pulls out, you WILL still get charged the full amount....
