I was a first-time landlord and they held my hand through the whole thing. Excellent communications - really excellent - and a general sense they were being straight with me. After the first viewing, the agent we worked with, Daniel White, had grasped exactly what we wanted and on the next viewing after that was to a house that matched all our requirements. And as a result of that, it was the house we bought in December 2014 and are still very happy in. Daniel White and Angie Sommerville then went above and beyond to make sure that we had a very fast purchase - we went from our offer being accepted to completing on the house in just three weeks. Something of a record but without that timing working, we would have been sofa surfing! We therefore cannot recommend this estate agent's enough.

Good from what I know of, I've moved house in London 4 times and these were the cheapest. They were probably also the most flawless agency. They also didn't require a deposit until our offer had been accepted; we'd dealt with previous agencies that wouldn't put in an offer without money (which I think is unethical).

Angie described Daniel James estate agents as a boutique agency and I would say that is a fair description. Their service seemed much more personal, honest and friendly than that offered by the larger high street names.
Their helpful, professional and efficient manner turned what I had assumed would be a painful process into a very straightforward one. They found me some very suitable tenants within a tight timescale and were always available to assist me with any questions or issues as they arose.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Daniel James to anyone looking to either let or rent in the Balham / Tooting area.

Angie and Daniel have been a pleasure to deal with. They have always been efficient, getting several viewings from serious prospective tenants and then securing some that we were really happy with. Their fees are the most competitive we found, and a month or so in they have done everything they have been asked with a pretty good turnaround time. Would recommend if you want a local agent who knows their stuff, rather than some of the flashier High St types.

Our experience with Daniel James Agency was overwhelmingly positive. Both Daniel and Angie were friendly, responsive, sympathetic to our needs and extremely knowledgeable about the state of the lettings market in Balham and what we could reasonably expect to achieve in rental for our flat.
