Appalling customer service with no care or recourse to the customer. Throughout the tenancy admin has at best been sporadic, with things chased diligently when Daniel Watney wanted something, but slowly dealt with if it was something we as tenants needed. However, moving out proved the worst experience; after some confusion with leaving furniture which we had agreed to put in place of furniture the landlord had when we arrived, we were charged then to REMOVE said furniture. The more disgraceful organization we've ever encountered. They poorly managed a project which created a leak in our property and then poorly managed the follow up. One year later we are still trying to get them to do their job. This has cost us lots of additional money, time and stress. They don't even care. Horrid company! Stay away!...

We were disappointed to read your review, especially after what we believe had been an untroubled tenancy. Your comments relate to issues surrounding the check-out; a misunderstanding about furniture items you mistakenly removed from the premises, and the condition of the cleaning as reported by the inventory clerk. I just finished renting a flat with Daniel Watney after 3 years. I can honestly say that apart from a flood from the flat above, I have never had to call their helpdesk with a problem. I have dealt with the same people throughout that time so I liked the continuity of that and also their professional and very friendly attitude. I have found dealing with Daniel Watney when checking out was very easy and would certainly recommend them and use them again...

I was recommended by a friend who was renting in the City but was hesitant as I was looking in the West End and Maida Vale area which Daniel Watneys do not have an office there. However, Steve came out to show me several properties ¢â‚¬â€œ some good and some not so good and eventually settled on a flat in Maida Vale. I took a long time choosing so fully appreciated the time that Steve took to show me around over two separate visits. Since then I have only had a couple of snagging issues...

I have used the letting services of Daniel Watney on two separate occassions; once on my own to rent a flat from them and separately a couple years later renting with a friend of mine. I found them to be an approachable, professionally run firm and were helped over the years with our random requests for additional locks, wardrobe shelves etc... all the usual stuff that we couldn\'t do on our own DIY-wise.
