Absolute nightmare to deal with. Maintenance requests are pretty much ignored or in my case, when they did finally send a contractor around to remove items the previous tenants left - they let themselves in while I was at work with no warning or contact with me, basically broke in and removed my personal possessions. Getting anyone to reply to emails is like herding cats. 2 weeks later and still no new bed or repairs as promised....

*Treating people unfairly. Don't deal with complaints in professional manner and offer any compensation. Checking report doesn't match check out, but disabled the link, so can't argue. Trying to charge me for throwing out stuff that clearly is not mine, but precious tenants' (e.g. Rug, DVD player, Christmas decoration). Bad. They use Experian credit check! Any other agency I dealt with did not charge £50 to get a credit check.

Dear Andrea I am sincerely sorry that you have suffered such a major inconvenience. It's very common for flats to get snapped up by other parties before someone else gets a chance to review. Fee's were up front, open and transparent. Compared to other agents around, DJ Alexander are the most competitive in the business and are dedicated to your satisfaction and as such, can comfortably charge one of the cheapest fee's any prospective tenant could hope for.

THIS COMMENT WAS MADE OF THE GLASGOW OFFICE BUT I CONCUR, "Incompetent staff. When reporting faults, would take at least three calls before anyone bothered to come out." We had 2 professional cleaners clean the house and left it in better condition than when we moved in. If you do rent from them inspect their move in report. Dear Canadain, I am sorry that you are unhappy about how the tenancy you had with us was handled when you vacated at the end of your lease agreement, can you confirm the address so that I can investigate this further for you? In order for us to claim any funds from a tenants deposit for cleaning (or anything for that matter) we must show sufficient evidence to illustrate that without doubt the claim is justifiable. I have looked into this matter and have been advised that the landlord of the property you applied for, changed their minds regarding your pet living in the flat after you had paid the holding deposit.
