I’m a carer for a tenant off cottons hagley road tenant has had right off way blocked to get out off the property by an abuse homeowner who changed the door and locks so he was left in a vulnerable state they didn’t use there powers as they should have done to sort this problem out I had to get police involved and letting manager rude to me and tenant when I took the tenant to cottons they don’t deserve to be managing property disgusting ...

I totally agree with the tenant that Cottons are a disgrace and a law unto themselves. They are a money driven company who place profit over people and employ staff like Jason and Brendan who evade responsibility and ignore complaints. They choose whether to ring or respond when it suits. They fail to deal with criticism and are only good as money collectors whilst neglecting the properties they claim to represent. Hi Gemma, really sorry to see you feel this way, especially as i felt we had a good rapport and have always offered you support. I always welcome feedback, as it helps us to improve our service, however, you must appreciate that we have to act on instructions from our client, arrange visits from contractors and report quotes when received from the tradesmen. What agent could do to change your mind?
They could have been generally more pleasant, helpful, had better manners (like not putting the phone down on tenants) and known how to run a lettings agency.

I am really, very sorry, to read this, as you can see from the other comments a lot of changes have been made and our service is far better and customer experiance is much improved. Unlike other agencies we actively look to improve our sevices based on customer experiance. Whilst I acknowlege we don't get it right all of the time, we do strive to give an honest and fair service. ...
