I rented a property from coastal management for three years and in that time any issues were dealt with promptly, I would of still continued renting from coastal but had to get a three bedroom property. I was a tenant with Coastal for nearly 4 years and have only ever had a positive experience in dealing with them. They left me alone unless I contacted them which I really appreciated, it felt like I was trusted to look after my home. The rent was reasonable and only went up a nominal amount during the tenancy. I would strongly dissuade anyone from using this company. We saw the reviews when we were in the middle of signing our tenancy agreement and thought we'd be optimistic and give them the benefit of the doubt in spite of their rating of <2 stars. From the start i found Costal to be a very good agent. The onboarding of us as tenants was easy and when there were a couple of issues with the house in the first few weeks they were sorted quickly. I found the Coast Management team to be friendly, supportive and very helpful with any problems with the flat that arose over that time. I had a tenancy with them for just over a year which only ended because the landlord wanted to sell the flat. I was given plenty of notice. There were a few issues in the flat which I let coastal know about and they were fixed as soon as they could be, a few of the problems were held up due to a different company not doing what they were supposed to do. I lived there for over 7 years, they never bother to decorate. When I first moved in the flat was already in a a bad state, looked like it was never painted, but they say they decorate flats every 10 years. I can't see how this can be true. The window were in terrible state, I was losing all the heat, but they weren't bother about that. i am so please to say that i was satisfied on the transaction done by the agent so far with some problems we met along our stay in the flat. Few things are not manageent deals with Jenna and Marcus, i find them very supportive and helpful even i am away. I was contacted for the purpose of returning the excess money that coastal owes us. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! When moving in to a property last year we found a total of 14 issues within the first hour of moving in, staf were unhelpful, rude and uncommunicative Prior to signing contracts we were told that the property would be fully redecorated \'to a good standard\' before we moved in. Do not even bother dealing with these people. They are not members of ARLA and they follow no codes of conduct. The discriminate and lie and are totally inadequate, all you have to do is ask any other letting agent about Coastal management and you will see there rep. What agent could do to change your mind?
Erm, just follow standard letting procedures rather than judging prospective tenants before they have even applied and taking two weeks to let them know they are never renting a property no matter what you do. Not lie. Not accuse of being aggressive for no reason and then using that as another cop out of the situation. Just please friends and strangers alike please trust me and just pretend coastal management is not there. If the two guys who own the properties see this review please feel free to contact me, I wanted to find you to see if I could still chat n person and rectify the situation as I am sure you are normal people unlike the people you have left making senseless decisions on your behalf and blaming it all on you.

I lived in a property managed by Coastal Lettings for 2.5 years and found them to be very helpful. I only moved to another agent because of a particularly nice property I saw otherwise I would have stayed with Coastal! If I were moving again to a rented property I would definitely visit there first because I enjoyed being managed by them. Absolutely terrible! Took 6 weeks for us to get the tenancy agreement sent out, then they blamed us for the late payment of rent. There were many things wrong with the flat including damp, which they ignored. They gave my partner 6 days notice to move out when she was 3 months pregnant and has a 2 year old. Please never rent from this company! My partner and I rented a property for 6 months and encountered nothing but problems. Our flat had lots of things wrong with it, including terrible damp and a faulty boiler along with a huge list of other things. These were brushed off from the start and never sorted. * Be honest with tenants. * Don\'t be sarcastic. * Don\'t slander tenants. * Allow tenants to be honest with you, rather than live in fear of eviction. * Don\'t shout at tenants down the phone. * Don\'t keep changing who handles a property. * Don\'t evict tenants who have done nothing to warrant it. * Decorate flats when it is your responsibility to do so.
