How can this company justify charging £258 for a sellers pack relating to a garage sale? This is the same charge for a sellers pack for a flat which is ridiculous. The directors who engage these rip off companies need to have a word and put a stop to these practices immediately.

Rented a property through them a few years ago and the flat was quite filthy when we moved in (greasy kitchen, dirty carpets, etc.) but there wasn't anything better at the time so we just accepted it and cleaned everything up ourselves. After six months we returned the flat in its original state and a few days later discovered they had deducted 300+GBP from our deposit for cleaning fees. I went into the office to query the unreasonable charge but the rude agent (who turned out to be a friend of the landlord) insisted on the amount for professional cleaning. The flat had certainly not been professionally cleaned prior to us moving in and I'm pretty sure the fee they charged us didn't go towards cleaning after we moved out...

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
