I find them very arrogant,they think its ok to enter your home when your not home even though you've told them previously that you prefer to be home when they need to visit.This is only one example which is more than enough to show you just how ignorant they are toward some of their tenants. ...

Agent Fees

Holding Fee
To proceed with a property and 'hold it' to ensure the property is guaranteed to you, there is a fee of Β£250.00 which is refunded to you on the day that you move in and sign contracts. If for some reason you change your mind and decide you no longer wish to proceed with the tenancy, this money is non-refundable. Please note that a property will be held for a period as agreed but no longer than four weeks.

To be paid on the day of Moving In:

Your first months rent is required in advance (i.e the day you move in, or before). Your rent will then be payable on the 1st of each month.

This is equal to one month’s rent + Β£100.00. This will be held by Churchills for dilapidations, breakages etc.

This fee is Β£234 inc VAT for one person or Β£354.00 inc VAT for two people, plus an additional Β£150 inc VAT per additional tenant.

If a Guarantor is required to enable your tenancy to proceed then an additional Β£150.00 inc VAT will be charged to cover their referencing and administration.

Complaints Procedure

Any complaints against Churchill's or any of it's employees should in the first instance be reported to one of the
companies Directors.

A Director will respond to any complaint within three working days.

If a complaint is still not satisfied the complaint can be referred to the Property Ombudson.
