I am a landlord and I got ripped off by "Carl" Afilaka too (Olatunde Carl Afilaka, Tunde Carl Afilaka). He took the rent from the tenants and didn't pass it on to me. He is a compulsive liar and con artist. He also rented our 2 bed flat as some sort of shared house from what the neighbours said. His agency was Xpress Properties at the time, this was several years ago.
Trading standards were alerted (they were already building a case against him) and the police. He owes me a 5 figure sum. ...
