Chris from Chase Holmes Lettings has a very busy job but he was always there to take my call. Not always good news but Chris and the rental team were extremely professional and on the ball throughout. I had experience renting my properties out and having them managed with 2 other agents in South Shields. They were no way near as on the ball as Chase Holmes. They have kept me up to date and in the loop even when times got tough and I couldn't get in touch with tenants. I would highly recommend Chase Holmes

"I, as a landlord and after 8 years of mismanagement by this company, have moved to another agent. The list of unprofessional and financially impacting instances regarding my property is something to behold. This company employs 'managers' that appease tenants and ignore the landlord, generally hiding behind email and phone conversations, that is, if you are communicated to at all. The 'managers' pretend to be mediators however you know (in every instance) that they are only working for their own self interest and going down the line of least resistance. Any problem that has arisen during the aforementioned period of 'mismanagement' was ultimately dealt with by me. If I was the business owner I would have shaken up the workforce much more effectively than the changes that have occurred recently (information given by a member of staff, a 'manager', who admitted that the letting management system was previously extremely poor). Do not use, do not touch, avoid at all costs (unless you want to be out of pocket, lied to, ignored and/or be subjected to comical management methodologies).

All I will say is if you renting off these they will try to get as much money as they can from you while you with them. If you a landlord they seem to be all for them not there tenants.

All I will say is Chris from sales don't believe a word that man says as he will pretend he there to help you while on phone but yet does the complete opposite when you finish the phone call.
Staff in office is also a joke not 1 of them know what they talking about and if you change anything in your agreement ie cancel early then 5 of them will deal with your changes and all 5 will tell you different things.
I'm over moon I'm coming to an end with these people and strongly advise people who are looking to rent to use alternative letting agents. Company unprofessional and a joke

Poor consistency in statementing, numerous missing. Accounts dept errors produced long-term (6months) misposting of rents back to tenant. Letters ignored by CEO. Never received any written reply from Head office at any time. Invoices for work done & charged not produced. Failure to oversee cleaning at end of tenancy. Completely inadequate inspection. Expensive commission. 6 months failure to find new tenant.
I came to this company from a local incompetent and untrustworthy agent and am very disappointed at coming to another, equally lacking in professionalism, with a shining contempt for clients.
