Avoid chase evans at all costs, the staff there are blood sucking cowboys who are just trying to extract as much money as possible very their tenants whilst providing as little assistance as possible. this agency only thought about money. If you are unlucky, your boiler damage on Friday or Weekend, they will ask you to shower with cold water over the weekend in order to save their weekend charge of plumber cost. Totally unethical and unprofessional. After only renting less than a month I was told the landlord wanted to sell. Omg I am in exactly the situation - we were informed that the landlord wanted to sell and then 2 days later they took new tenant to view our flat to rent. Anneka was our property manager as well! Unprofessional. Continuous change of personnel. Repeated overcharging of repairs. Over promise under deliver. We let Chase Evans manage our flat. They promised me GBP330 per week if we switch to them. At the end we got GBP300. The tenants they found tend to vacate fairly quickly even though the location is very near Canary Wharf. Erol Hussein was an absolute nightmare to deal with. I have never known one to be so unresponsive to emails or phone calls. It would take well over a few days for him to reply, sometimes even weeks. When we would call, his secretary would often say that he was unavailable and that he would call back. No return call was ever done. It seemed that only if we were to complain about him would he then reply to emails. Or if we would go around him, asking other more reliable employees like Kezia Fauche...

I think one MAJOR thing Erol could have done to improve is be more available to his clients. I understand that it is possible he simply just has too much to do. If this is the case, hire another Contract Renewal Agent to help him out because this standard is unacceptable.

Property did not come with any of the displayed flat furnishings eg kettle, toaster etc. My biggest gripe is that both bathrooms don't have a mirror. Agent or landlord didn't seem to care about rectifying the situation. The property manager rang and told me her flat didn't have a mirror.
