Crooks and liars. I told them I had a small chihuahua prior to moving in, the agent said he checked with landlord and she was fine with that. After 2.5 years of paying rent on time every month, I suddenly received a letter of eviction for non disclosure of pet. Either the agent lied to me saying consent was given or landlord just wanted to get new tenant on higher rate rent. Disgusting....

stay away from this office, vague and unclear procedures of credit references lead to loosing the holding deposit. they have never removed the property from the website and their attitude change drastically once you have paid in full. nightmare. avoid at all cost. Shocking experience Couple of professionals with one daughter. Flat rented on Nov 16, snagging list and carpet replacement agreed with entry date early Jan 17. Entry date postponed to mid Jan and then late Jan by the Agency as works not completed. Upon entrance flat completely dirty, none of the items on the snagging list fixed, flooring incomplete least not last the heating was not working and there was no hot water. Applied to view a flat (which we are currently now living in) and were taken to see 3 "similar" properties. This was fine, but I think your average punter really only wants to see the one they asked to see. Extremely suffocating, old-fashioned sales techniques. Pressuring clients NEVER works. We simply wanted to view the flat but they pressured us into filling up a form in order to register our interest so that "nobody else will get the flat because we are first". In this form you have to give your CREDIT CARD DETAILS which is outrageous and shady and we gave a fake one. My gripe is first and foremost with the estate agent who directly dealt with our letting. Jack Anselm is a disgraceful estate agent with the residential needs of his customers being the absolute bottom of the barrel on his priorities in dealing with you. Chard is terrible. They continually showed properties out of our price range. They continually showed properties out of our desired area. They screwed up the flat/inventory check-in and the check-out. They tried to collect extra rent even though the term of the lease had ended. I'm very disappointed with the agency. Mr Sweeney was one of the rudest agents I have ever encountered. My partner had an appointment with the agent and due to failed signal she was running late 15 min. She called him at the time of the appointment telling she'd be 15 min late and he said that it was no problem as he was waiting in the car. This is a review of the Chard branch on Old Brompton Road in Chelsea. We had Chard show us potential lettings in Chelsea and found one we really liked. The agent(s) seemed friendly and professional up to this point. When roping us in to sign the contract the agent was polite and helpful, although required a lot of paperwork/personal info that I\'m pretty sure wasn\'t necessary. Problems started when we moved in. Dreadful. Thought I would use a big company to give me peace of mind whilst I was living abroad and letting my apartment for the first time. Instead I became a number. Fulham branch has neverending staff turnover, so one is dealing with someone new everytime. Also good at inventing charges, experienced at charging a renewal fee for doing nothing. Managed to successfully convince my landlord to save a bundle and deal with me directly....
