When tenants make an application to rent a property, prior to credit checking we ask them to declare if they have any adverse credit history, if they declare no, and it then transpires that they have not give the correct information which leads to failing the credit check they run the risk of losing part of their application fee. ...

Although not the lowest (1%) I felt Chapplins would market my property much better than other estate agents. They know the area extremely well.

Unfortunately some tenants do not appreciate that letting agents are employed by landlords to protect their interests and if a tenant chooses to leave a property before the end of a tenancy and stop paying the rent that they have contracted to pay, then it's is likely to have a financial impact on them in due course. ...

What agent could do to change your mind?
They say they are 'Professional' but they are completely lacking in knowledge on the properties that they have to let. Why don't they return calls and why do they consistently provide wrong information!
