My family and i had to move and we found Sam by far the most helpful, kind and energetic agent for a long time. He really enjoys what he is doing and went above and beyond his duty for us. He is the reason we actually decided to rent with Chancellors. Unfortunately i can't say the same of head quarters... their service to us wasnt great. This is by far the WORST company I have ever dealt with. As a renter I have never owned the property I rent, but despite this I get multiple phone calls a week and emails asking telling me that my property is on the market and that I should sell it with them. I have NEVER owned the damn property. STOP CALLING AND EMAILING ME! Stay well clear of this company, they will harass you for years to come...

One word! Appalling. From start to finish the sale of my property was a total shambles and I wish I'd never picked up the phone to them. From not leaving me a copy of the contract (illegal) to vastly overinflating the value, to trying to view property whilst I was in bed after clearly making them aware I was working nights. Please consider every other estate agent before Chancellors as you may regret it....

Helpful up to the move in date. Incorrect keys given, over a month and still waiting for a sets of keys, we're using the agents. No letterbox key. Door handles broken or non existent (locking my partner in a bedroom, having to unscrew bathroom door handle with tweezers to unlock the bedroom door). Hung up on 2 times and no call backs. No car parking space although advertised and garage rendered useless if the allocated parking for other residents is full....

I have never left a review for anything or anyone before but cannot begin to explain the experience we've had with Chancellors. I have to at least hope to help someone else avoid using them and the stress we have had. Very unprofessional. Changed the time of the appointment on the day via email and then wouldn't respond. The rental process with Chancellors has been a completely nightmare! I had lots of problems to get my keys once I had paid the cleared funds. Horrific experiences - tardy to broken boilers, our back door was broken for a month (and allowed entry to all, so we couldn't move in for a month). Do not use this estate agents, my company leased a property through Chancellors and the landlady illegally held our deposit and I had to take her to court to get our money back. This action took several months and was at great expense. Chancellors East are the most dishonest, incompetent, morally bankrupt estate agents I ever had the misfortune to meet. They will charge you at every stage of the way. This Agent's Fees are ridiculous. They claim they can justify every single on them, which I am sure they can. But I could come up with fees and justify them too. What about ‚£25 for the hassle of setting up a direct debit? Or how about ‚£15 for every time we had to waste our time with them on the phone or in person?

Interesting that all the current reviews are over 2 years old. Avoid this agency like the plague! They are ruthless in their pursuit of commission and care little for buyer and seller. I also recently made an offer on a property which they failed to pass onto the vendor - despite their legal obligation to do this. On a Saturday they only had a pathetic 2 people to do viewings - another nearby agency had five! Not to be trusted, unprofessional and unorganized - enough said!...

Avoid this agency! The worst estate agents I have ever had to deal with. From showing us a property that didn't resemble fully the property we actually got to inflated and unnecessary charges. The people have the worst possible customer service, they do not respond when you email with issues during the tennancy. They are invasive when it comes to inspections, and they will charge you at every possible step....
