The Brannen family has been synonymous with property on the Coast since the early 1900s - older generations of the family were prolific homebuilders in the area including on the Broadway, Linskill Terrace and Hawkeys Lane. There is also a ‘Brannen Street’ in North Shields, acting as a reminder of how the Brannen family has shaped the Coast brick by brick.

Today we sell & let rather than build houses from our Whitley Bay and Tynemouth offices. With good old fashioned hard work and customer service combined with the latest in technology, we provide our clients with a first class service which we believe is the best on offer at the Coast. Terrible... Don't clean the properties before they rent them out or anything.... Work that should of been done like checking to see if boiler works doesn't get checked if you want a tenancy with nothing but problems with no solutions go with brannens and partners...

We would of course expect the boiler to be working when you moved into a property. The gas safety certificate and boiler service (where applicable) are undertaken once a year. My partner and I have rented a property for the last two years. The staff at the Park View office are just awful to deal with and I use the word deal loosely. My partner and I recently moved into a property which we rented from Brannen and Partners. Despite telling Sam Winters I was 6 months pregnant and that there were repairs that needed to be made I was ignored. His mode of contact was to send one third party repairman who didn't know what he was doing, nor did the repairman from Digon Services turn up sometimes or when he did -didn't bother giving a 48 hour notice. Myself and my partner moved into a property by advertised by themselves. Despite not having anything to do with the actual property and putting us directly in touch with the landlord they charged us nearly £300 in fees. I've no idea what these fees were for as the credit and refernece checks were carried out by another company entirely. Our main complaint is the attitude of their staff. We always got the impression they were snotty and speaking down to us. Terrible customer service skills...

This estate agents is an absolute disgrace. They have no interest in the welfare of their tenants and are interested only in finding ways to keep bonds and insult customers. My partner rented a flat from them in a disgusting state (due to desperation at the time) and proceeded to improve the property over his tenancy. As a property management company Brannen & Partners are the worst I have ever had to deal with. They show no interest in running & maintaining the property & are only concerned with demanding CASH for their service charges ( whilst not carrying out the relevant services!) The staff are rude at the first opportunity & show no customer service skills. If you are a private landlord I would suggest you use a dedicated property management company....

What agent could do to change your mind?
They need to rethink the way in which they treat and interactive with their tenants. Handing over large sums of cash is not safe/convenient or necessary in today\'s world. There are perfectly safe ways of facilitating electronic payments. The overall way in which their staff speak to and treat their clients is risible and needs to be addressed as a matter of urgency.

We arranged to rent a property through them and was a nightmare from start to finish. Thank god they are not managing the property. After arriving to pay the deposit they didn\'t tell us that we had to pay cash. We then had to go away and find the cash.
