If you want the most complex letting then please go with BJB, from start to finish to even get into the property it took 7 months... due to the fact they continuously lost all of our paperwork and just forgetting to let us know the new information. after viewing the the place we loved it, still had that freshly painted smell in the air... which was most probably used to cover the smell and look of the damp that was there, and you guessed it folks after several calls and emails to the agent we st...

Had the misfortune of being the tenant of a property managed by BJB Lettings. Knowing the current tenants of a property were moving out, we were quick to contact BJB before the property was advertised as to let as we required a move in date as soon as possible. BJB seemed absolutely incapable of processing the application. They lost two applications resulting in us having to re-send, when the applications were received there was no contact to inform us. We viewed a property immediately as it came on the market. The agent undertaking the viewing was unsure how we proceeded with an application. Anyway we applied with a 170 fee. After many phone calls to them to enquire as to how the the application was going.Nobody ever had an answer and were told that they would return call they never did on more than five occasions. Shocking service from a company I believed to be one of the best in the area. Initially, I visited the Longton office with my partner after seeing a property to let in their window - contact details for which was the "Longton Office". Overall service was simply incredibly poor. After renting a property through BJB we had constant need to call them for ongoing maintenance issues (condition of the property was not their fault of course, but they were providing a fully managed service). We had no emergency contact number and despite asking several times never received one. Rent late, no notification, I have to chase. I have not received rent for 2 months now, but no news, warning or communication whatsoever. Speaking to the staff they say things like 'it's not my area'. Nobody takes responsibility. Callbacks are promised but never actioned. The most appalling customer service I have ever received....

What agent could do to change your mind?
To change my mind they should resolve previous issues and not allow this atrocious 'service' to continue. First and foremost communication with customers so they are aware of their state of affairs, take some accountability, fix the issues! BJB is the worst company I have had e misfortune of dealing with, in any sector!
