Check Facebook for true reviews. Benham and Reeves have opened 2 accounts on here to hide their poor reviews. AVOID at all costs! As a landlady, I have found the service to be atrocious, almost non existent, the staff members are devious, crafty and deliberately make any excuse to squeeze as much money as they can from you. Most of the staff don't know their own protocol and can't answer most of my questions. There is ten times the amount of paperwork to sign for them just so they can throw Ts &...

Appalling estate agent. Poor communication and advice. They couldn't care less and seemed totally disinterested in the offer we made on a property and lacklustre in attempting to see ours. The commission on selling our place would have netted them c 6k but they really couldn't have been less proactive or interested in doing their jobs. Avoid!...

We were looking to buy and we found Lucy Shear to be superb. Her attitude, personality, and knowledge was outstanding and completely tops any other agent I have dealt with in the NW6 area. We ended up buying out of the area so we didn\'t use Lucy to the end, but I know she would have been fantastic. Benham and Reeves need to make sure they hire more Lucy\'s and other agents in the area need to be careful!!...

- Took 12 months and a significant amount of chasing to replace kitchen taps which caused a very large amount of rot, followed by deducting expenses from my deposit for said rot; - Refused to contact the landlord to see if they would remove their (significant amount) of furniture); - Increased the rent year on year at a rate above inflation; - B&R mainly deals with landlords abroad and focuses on minimising landlord costs at the expense of tenants. Use with caution!...

Having a bad experience with a certain large London agency (I have never expected). Benham & Reeves a rude estate agent in entire UK, I have ever met and a poor customer care service. They charge lot of hidden and unnecessary costs, totally unprofessional and give most ill considered advice on property price and marketing. Stay away from these guys!, Believe me they will be your worst nightmare....

Arrogant t**t who worked in highgate now runs the crouch end office is the biggest waste of time i have ever met, he is more concerned with his "country manor" look than dealing with customers. Gave my boyfriend the wrong keys (im still convinced this was on purpose as my brother slated him on the phone for his actions) A horrible vile petty man AVOID!!!!....

The agent relayed quite different stories to us, the purchasors, compared with what they told the vendor. This resulted in the sale falling through, having spent a large amount of money on the survey. The miscommunication became clear only on direct communication with the vendor. I suspect one of their agents was duplicitous in his behaviour, and suspect he had a motive to hurry the sale through (a bonus?). I would avoid this branch. Their local rivals are better in my opinion....

The agency has provided a really poor service. The agent has lied to us about numerous things and has mislead us into signing the contract. He has agreed to fulfil our requests but did not do so. Very poor service would not use them again. If you have to use Benham and Reeves make sure you have a legal documentation of everything that they have promised, even the smallest bits, so that you secure yourself....
