All the staff at Barnard Marcus Epsom are very friendly, professional and approachable. In particular, Anujen Vijayarahaven has been extremely proactive and helpful in assisting us with selling our property. Worst agent ever, never met anyone more unprofesssional then her. She usually starts ignoring you when she's wrong, than start yelling at you at you and she can even LITTERALLY slam the door on your face (fortunatelly I was quick enought to step back). Rude, does not know how to deal with clients and extrimely inpolite, she did cross the line. Big loss of reputation and image having employees like her. I do hope that some actions will be taken and I would appreciate apologies by her....

Booked a valuation with Amber, she didn't even bother to show up. Rang the office but it was shut and customer services didn't even have her mobile on file. Waited until 11am the next day to hear from them, ended up having to ring them myself to inform them. Their excuse was a 'mix up with diaries', despite customer service telling me they could see it booked on the main system. Will not be selling my flat with them if they can't be bothered to even turn up to value it....

We have tried to buy a property advertised by them this month . This was a very disappointing experience. Obviously we didn't get the property we wanted to buy. Not because we haven't been the highest bidder or we weren't in a very strong position to purchase the property. We have been very desappointed by this agency. Good sellers, however very poor service afterward so the sell was closed to collapse with the chain. They didn't manage and advise our first time buyer correctly which created delays, their communication level toward us was poor and we struggled to get weekly news, sometimes hiding facts like the fact that the solicitor's buyer resigned, Barnard Marcus' solicitor was a nightmare and the completion was severly delayed and cost us money. Where do I begin?! Barnard Marcus provided the worst possible tenant experience I could possibly imagine. We moved into a flat that had a stain on the ceiling & were told it was all under control, a date for re-work to begin was all that was required. I was very disappointed with the service and client liason from the letting team. They appeared not to have training on how to relate to clients and seemed inexperienced. I always had to call for updates on the situation and was passed from one person to another. There was adequate time to find appropriate tenants but this did not happen. When I wrote to the Senior Letting Agent to express my reasons for changing agents I never received a reply....

AVOID at all costs. These agents do not realise the bad reputation they have in the area. They dont pass on bids to vendors (fact through knowing enough buyers and vendors in the area), they lie, they plaster their signage everywhere over other agent signs to try and tout business. They are extremely sly and need to be very careful with the power of word of mouth. Do not buy or sell with them, they are as equally as deceitful with both processes....

Would strongly recommend against using the genuine cowboys under any circumstances. As a buyer I was relentlessly lied to by the agent (Shane) on all matters, all the usual estate agent tricks but escalating to daily lies. Be warned!!! Barnard Marcus and their property management company Sequence homes have provided us with the most incompetent, disorganised and rude service I have ever experienced.
