I was always happy to pay the fees. They were reasonable and given the service and lack of problems that I had to deal with I was happy to pay for the peace of mind. The invoices were always clear and allowed me to effectively manage the accounts for the property.

We had to make several fixing in our property. Maintenance answered immediately and started managing the situation to fix it. Sometimes it would take a few days to have an agreement on timing with the person doing the repairs, but the agency answered very fast and tried their best. Also being kind all the time....

Most horrible estate agents what I have ever experienced. Bad attitude, unprofessional and very, very slow. The worst agency I have ever come across. They are incredibly rude and try and squeeze every bit of money out of you. They take no responsibility for their mistakes and will just turn up at your property and let themselves in. Highly unproffessional. Very bad communication and negative attitude. We found the agency very unwilling to help. We asked for disinfection from ants several times and they ignored us. Their responses were late and even rude. At the end of the tenancy they sent us a breakdown of 'damages' with random charges that made no sense. Rented property on Askew Road, shephards bush. When asking for deposit to be returned we asked agent to ne present as we did not trust landlord. Landlord attempted excuses and lies to keep deposit, iniding missing chest freezer which he had relocated to shop below. Incompetent, untrustworthy and aggressive. We lived in a property for 1 year and had numerous issues. We are sorry to hear that one of our customers is not satisfied with our services and we will make every effort to monitor the issues raised. With some properties we collect the rent and maintenance issues are relayed to a landlord who is responsible for the repairs. When tenants dispute deposit deductions we are happy for Deposit Protection arbitrary scheme to make fair decision. Overdue rental payment are subject to charges as per Tenancy Agreement. I am the owner of a property below a flat managed by Austin D'Arcy. I am now unlikely to be a prospective customer. Water has been leaking through the floor of the flat into my property for months. Unfortunately we are unable to investigate and respond to this review as we do not have details of the customer. When the review is written anonymously it does not give us a chance to investigate. On properties where we collect the rent only landlords are responsible for the repairs. Our Tenancy Agreements are standard and are produced by a professional body. We are also members of National Approved Lettings Scheme and Property Ombudsman.....

Incredibly incompetent and highly defensive to the point of rudeness. They will lie at every opportunity. Everything is someone else's responsibility to them. They make repeated false promises. When it comes to leaving they will do all they can to pocket your deposit. Their office is a total mess of post-it notes and loose papers which is how they organise themselves. Unable to investigate this as reviewer has not provided details. Will monitor clients relationship and services. With regards to us wanting to keep deposit, if any deduction are made from deposit it is landlord's decision and it is a landlord who keep's the money not Austin D'arcy. In most cases deposit is refunded in full. Unfortunately in some cases they might be some deductions and if there is dispute decision on any deductions is made by relevant deposit protection agency.....

Absolutely Terrible! They rented us a property which was not fit to live in! They had several times told us that the property had been finished but almost nothing had been done! The boiler did not work, the windows did not shut, the bathroom door did not shut and the kitchen was not fit to cook in. Complaints Procedure

Stage One Ҁ“ Contact member of team you have been dealing with

We receive very few complaints, however we understand that sometimes things donҀ™t go exactly to plan and occasionally go wrong. If this occurs, we encourage you to try and resolve the situation with the member of our team you have been dealing with.
Stage Two Ҁ“ Contact Manager

If we are unable to resolve the situation at Stage 1, you may refer the case to the Manager. Where necessary, if the situation remains unresolved, we recommend that the issue is raised within one month of completing Stage 1.

The member of team will provide you with the managerҀ™s name and contact details. Alternatively you may write to the Manager at: info@austindarcy.co.uk. We will acknowledge the complaint within three working days of receipt and work with you to try and resolve any issues raised as promptly as possible. A written response to summarise any investigations and steps taken will be sent within fifteen working days.
Stage Three Ҁ“ Contact Director

If you still remain dissatisfied and wish to further escalate your complaint, you may then write to the Director via post to the following address:

Stage Four Ҁ“ Contact The Property Ombudsman

If you are not satisfied with the proposed resolution, you may approach The Property Ombudsman Service (TPOS) at www.tpos.co.uk
Please note that if you do wish to contact The Property Ombudsman Service (TPOS), you must do so within six months of the date of the final proposed resolution from us. It is also important to note that The Property Ombudsman Service (TPOS) will not consider your complaint until our internal complaints procedure has been exhausted.
