Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.

Complaints Procedure

A formal complaint can be made either verbally (but must be willing to have the phone conversation recorded for record purposes) or in writing / by email. If in writing or by email the attached form should be used. b) In all cases, the complaint must be passed on to the Director c) The Director must acknowledge the complaint in writing or by email within one week of receiving it. d) The Director will investigate the complaint. e) The person making the complaint will receive a resolution based on the investigation within four weeks of the complaint being received. If this is not possible then a letter or email must be sent explaining why. Stage 3 In the event that the complainant wishes to escalate the complaint, an appropriate alternative will be provided to examine the complaint.
