Initial admin and moving in coordinated by Ross was very simple and straightforward. However there didn't seem to be any handover to the new agent Jen, who emailed me regarding rent which had already been paid. Upon moving out, a date was agreed and the flat had been cleaned and decorated at my own cost. I am very sorry that you feel you have had a poor experience on check out. The cleaning bill is what the company would have charged us and unfortunately we do have to get the property back up to a professional standard for the next tenant. Arden do not get this money. All deposit deductions can be disputed via Safe Deposits Scotland and if you are unhappy then this is the best course for you to take. With regard to your over paid rent, we do advise in the check out letter what your part month....

Moving from the states was a nightmare in itself, but Michael made everything easy for my flat mate and I. Even when it came time to move in and do the walk through, he helped carry up our luggage which he didn't have to do but was so incredibly kind of him. He answered our emails and was always available to talk to us on the phone and was always patient...which was huge for two stressed out Americans. Thanks, Michael!...

Moved into our new flat 2 weeks ago and have been more than satisfied with the service provided by Michael. As previoisly only having rented through a provate landlord I had a few worries about using a company such as Arden. Michael has helped to make us feel at ease right from taking my deposit after viewing of the flat to the check in and throughout our tennancy so far. He seems very genuine and as though he cares for the needs of his tenants. Very happy so far....

Overall, we had a good experience! The property was amazing. Allan was helpful and professional and usually replied to our emails promptly. Both the check-in and check-out procedures were pretty smooth. Our only really issue was the internet. We were not given a choice in the provider and had constant trouble with it. It would have been great if the landlord had changed the provider, as we were all paying for a service that was not working correctly - which seems pointless!...

A very friendly and responsive service from the start. The check-in was smooth, and the paperwork and information packs were clear and thorough - best I've experienced. My only criticism is that there were a few administrative mistakes that complicated things: wrong names, dates, and values on contracts and in emails, and misinformation during the initial property viewing....

A tenant in my current flat for nearing a decade now, I am incredibly pleased with the service provided by Arden since they took over factoring from our previous property agents. They have always been accomodating and responsive when contacted for tenant matters and are swift in dealing with requests for repairs. Arden took on the letting of my property when I moved to London, I swapped to them during marketing after having a terrible experience with another firm. From the moment Arden took my property on I felt confident that it would be taken care of and it all was. They are a great agent and they do what they say they will when they say it. I have been renting my flat out through Arden Property Management for ten years now and have absolutely nothing negative to say about them. They find suitable long term tenants and, arrange for repairs, replacements etc.at reasonable prices. They apply new legislation where necessary. They are quick to correspond and always helpful. They took over my previous agency 6 months after I moved in, and the first news I heard from them was an email telling me that I had not paid the rent, and that I should do so immediately. HI Sachi, I am sorry you have such a poor view of Arden and with regard to the maintenance issue, if there were delays again I can only apologise, we try our best to rectify all issues which are reported as quickly as possible. When we took over management of your property we wrote to all tenants and sent them copies of out tenant information pack, I am not sure why you did not receive this. I am sorry that you feel you have had poor service. I took on your property in East Calder as a favour and did come out at 6pm on a Friday to meet you. You had found your own tenant so I agreed to discount our set up fee, (£200), you grumbled at £100 and so I agreed to £50. Your bank details were not on your contract and so we had to chase for these. Your tenant moved in on the 23rd of January and at that point I asked if you would like me to transfer the rent, you declined and said....

We are both renting from Arden and using them to let our flat and we are very impressed with the service. From getting our own flat rent ready to making the move into our new flat, everything has been extremely smooth and easy. Problems started the very first day when the contact person we had met at the office did not come to do the check-in. They sent someone with little experience in the matter.
